- Tom has a tea related mishap, thankfully not in Boston. The rum was spared and will most likely be a guest star in DtC 60, at least in spirit. Bottoms up!

I'd like to thank each and every one of you who take the time to watch DtC, and am very grateful to everyone who takes more time out of their day to comment. In a perfect world there would be endless time for either Tom or Ob to engage with everyone, but alas the world is far from perfect.

Q: I have a burning question about something in the video! What should I do?!
A: An email sent directly to Tom is the best way to get your question answered, because while he most definitely reads each and every one of your comments, he hasn't quite gotten the hang of replying to them in the comment section, and is not likely to in the foreseeable future. Or ever.
You can also call him if you prefer (856-866-8733) between the hours of 9 AM and 4 PM, EST. This may be slightly more difficult because he's forever running around away from his desk, but it's worth a shot.
Q: I have a amusing anecdote, scathing criticism, or heartfelt compliment that I deeply need to express and I require / demand / long for a personalized response! What should I do?!

Another great video Tom! I see that the identified M36 Chain SS was an identification made by me and my SS Dientsaltersliste Service and the letter had my Weinand Militaria logo.

I think in the collecting community we need to discuss whether one should open an original factory bag with dagger inside or not. Do we or should we devalue a mint dagger if removed from the bag? How can we enjoying a dagger if we can't see it?
I think it has to be removed and the bag preserved, That thing could be a fake inside that bag and in my opinion only a fool would pay top dollar for it sight unseen.
@@darrinrentruc6614 I would video myself opening it in the most careful way possible and include the video and bag with the dagger.

Dagger in the original bag from the factory. Wow! 👍🏼What does that do to the value?
No one knows; that is a first. But the dagger must be removed and inspected to make sure everything is real. Retain the bag and the video of it being opened.

Please explain what you are doing, getting all this neat stuff . . . Are you appraising, buying, consigning, maybe read the letter before you go on camera. The first SS dagger, you didn’t question the crude officer number. Is that how they would have given it the officer? The more education you can give the better. Where did the items come from? Maybe a little video editing.

Please go to the doctor to check that breathing problem you have, maybe it's obesity problems or God knows what, but it makes it extremely uncomfortable to watch the entire video (I can only resist 1 - 2 min) love your videos but, please, do something about it
