  • It's been a while since i've updated, but there's progress despite work taking up all my time. The valve train and head are on featuring OEM parts and Harland Sharp Roller rockers. This head should be super quiet and offer a few more ponies while it's at it.

    You know that 0331 head is prone to cracking right?
    You've done an excellent job assembling and clean the engine. I hope that cylinder head doesn't give you any trouble in the future, just thought I'd mention incase you didnt know, you can Google it and read the forums. Love this videos 🤙

    What's the torque to tighten them down?

    Just a question , I thought that the actual rockers need soaked in oil for a certain amount of time ?

      These instructions didn’t say anything about soaking. Could be the difference between roller rocker and stamped steel rockers?

      What were you looking for specifically? I’d be interested in a total parts list for the whole Stroker build, but that would probably be done in its own video.

    What’s the pushrod length you using ?

    Self adjusting rockers?

    • @motolayne
      @motolayne  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Not self adjusting. The lifters are oil filled and “adjust”.

      Not sure what that means, but does lash come into play. I just see people torquing the rollers down and calling it a day.@@motolayne

      You cannot adjust lash like most engines. You must measure and order the correct pushrods
