Really good advice - it works. I have been trying out some acrylic house paints. The smell of some is disturbing but I really prefer the viscosity. Sort of like adding flow medium to artists heavy body, but so much cheaper, plus what I love is the opacity of all colours (even yellows) which you can always make translucent if you want. My understanding is raw canvas wont provide a long term stability with structure and color that prepped canvas would. It might look good now but in some years?

totally agree! they are hit or miss sometimes but really great if you need to cover a lot of area without breaking the bank :)
