I have a 2020 GT premium but it is not the performance package, so does not have active exhaust. Is it possible for me to have one installed where I can open and close it to make it louder or quieter?
I had this exhaust on my 202, and it whistled, sounded like when you would blow over the top of a glass bottle. Would do it at around 2000-3500 RPM. Sent it back to Borla for a S-type, same issue. The stock one don't do it. Any ideas? I torqued all the clamps to spec, and even ran a bead of copper silicone around the joints.....its annoying.

(I have a bone stock base model 21' mustang GT) what would one do if they did not have the factory active exhaust and wanted to install an aftermarket exhaust like this? I'm sure I can purchase the motors from ford or off hand but does a base 21' GT have the software already to actually use the features? Like to select the varies modes normal, sport, track etc? Thank you!
from what I have researched since I had a 18 w/o it, got a 21 now with active and love it, they do not have the programming for it. You would need to somehow flash it with the right programming or you would have to look up something like the Roush active exhaust option.
Sounds great but I wish you would've showcased a six speed MANUAL LOLZ. Maybe they don't even produce these in anti people under 30 mode ie DCT? Yes, I'm 41 genx and appreciate the manual even though I'm old
I hope you went and readjusted that driver side tip before the customer got the car back.
So cool that they could adapt to the active exhaust. I have the ATAK on my 2017 and it's always on blast. Then again I love it being always on blast.
The left muffler is crooked
That one sounds great!
Have this on my 2019. Ended up welding them. Clips suck and leaked.
why is one exhaust tip lower than the other ones... wtf
she’s a beast
Nice ride and color

that is a NICE system
nice sound! by the way, which rims are on this car?
Velgen Vf-5 Gloss gunmetal
The automatics shift too soon for me. i need more revs inbetween shifts
That's definitely a downfall to the autos for sure.
Put it in S for higher gear shifts, but less MPG
Thats what the paddles are for.
Pair this up with some headers
What are the rims on the Mustang? Looks good!!

Mustang6g forums have all the info you need. Search active on nonactive cars and an entire thread will pop up for you.
I love you
2:56 is my eyes playing tricks on me or is that only one cat that I see on this GT 🤔
There's one on each side just like normal ahead of the clamps he removes for the midpipe.
nice
2 grand for a lil louder then my stock active with H pipe... No thx
Said no one 😂, Borla is engineered to perfection.
I have the same h pipe stock active and it’s perfect
Can't beat Borla Ataks, they just sound way better. Hardly hear any S550's that sound as good as mine.

Tail pipes are way off. The tips are way staggered to the one side. Junk! Shitty install. I'll stay with stock w/ active.
First damn
