Cool man! My brother have the Ford performance CatBack Borla Touring on his 17 GT with black tips and it's loud enough on cold starts and when needed to impress! But this system is top notch! He had the Roush system on a previous model and it was very annoying lol
The question I keep asking should I buy the Mustang GT PP2 which I love the look and touch to it, or go up one more with the GT 350. Either one will provide plenty of power and looks to satisfy me, but I feel like the GT has far more custom modifications compared to the Shelby GT 350.
you'll get bored after a year, trust me, i went back to a muffler after straight piping my shelby durango 5.9 with the supercharger, idk what to do with my 5.7 charger just yet
Does this sound familiar to the roush cat back? Also is there an option with this but instead of an X pipe an H pipe? I’m looking for a more classic muscle car deep tone with the h pipe
I'd want to think the MBRP would be louder, in the sense that it's a muffler delete, compared to the high-flow mufflers this kit has. I'm 50/50 between this catback and the MBRP deletes with an H-pipe
Well I installed the MBRP muffler delete and I did leave the magnaflow resonated X pipe on it and its pretty loud! But its a good DEEP tone, very little rasp heard on top of RPM above 6k, but it has a lot of volume all the way through and it sounds deep throughout. merging into the freeway is definitely heard in the cab and there is some drone around 1700-1900 RPMs though. cruising about 67 mph is where the drone stops and its super quiet after that, sounds stock cruising actually until you give it gas and it just wakes up quick! lol But I would definitely recommend it though.
I wish Ford offered all aluminum body panels on the front of the Mustang GT, as an option at least to reduce weight on the front end by 2-3%. Hell they could re-invest the weight lost by shifting weight backwards to further optimize balance.
How does this compare to the Borla Atak and Corsa Extremes? in terms of loudness, currently have an x pipe on my 19 gt and a muffler delete and its super loud...............

They're not even released yet for 2018's w/o Active exhaust. I emailed them exactly 3 weeks ago - they responded saying they will be released within 3-8 weeks. So the 3 weeks elapsed today, meaning they should be released within 5 weeks.

I would recommend. My 22 Mustang GT sounds great.
This is literally the perfect exhaust for a daily driver mustang. It’s quiet at an idol and it sounds deep and loud at acceleration!!

Nothing crazy about that it’s a great sounding exhaust it gives the mustang the right amount of that deep throaty sound

Christ this amazing. This is easily the best sounding tone I've heard on these systems. I have an MBRP on my 15 GT and I'm sad this only fits 18s.

Corsa extreme is good by itself. Once you put headers with it it's too loud. Corsa sport sounds amazing with headers. Go with the corsa sport

The Ford Touring system comes with the resonator. The Sport and Extreme don't but you can add it
