Love the memories you are creating for your son. I got those from my grandfather. I am 70 years old and those memories are still with me like it was yesterday. I am a new sub in Metairie keep up the good work. Could you tell us where these videos are taken. I do not own a boat but would love to know where these beautiful places are in my state. God Bless you and your family.
Thanks for the positive feedback. That's the moments I live for. I'm blessed that my family enjoys doing awesome outdoor adventures with me. We over here in Houma not far from you. The crabbing video was done out of Pointe Aux Chenes. The videos that we do at our camp are done in Pierre Part. 🦀🦀
really love your show tara cooking, that women can cook, kevin laid back , your father is a keeper, Drake has grown and really respectful kid. love you guys
This was a GREAT video! I'm 67 y/o(a Grandma). When I was a kid, we would vacation at Tybee Island(near Savannah, GA) and my late uncle would take us to a pier with some chicken necks on strings and some nets and we would go crabbing. It was sooo much fun and those blue crabs were delicious. Thanks for sharing your adventures with us! Drake is such a delight, too!
At 76 remembering flying my dresser amphibious seaplane 50' foot AGL watching the Cajun life pass in front of my life...I'm from New Iberia but live in Lafayette, LA and Castle Rock, Co. Look'n for a boat to fish anywhere from Louisiana to Maryland to keep the culture. Thanks for teaching us how to live the good life. Joe B
We have so many amazing outdoor activities we get experience around here. Hard to beat the fishing in this area. Best of both worlds. Fresh and Saltwater. Thanks for the comment. 🦀

Get that merch going and buy up some camps to rent out. Gonna be amazing to watch this journey of Great Folks.
Brings me back to a time fifty years ago crabbing around Delcambre and in the gulf at Rutherford Beach in Cameron Parish and when I lived in Meterie. I'm 71 now and have lived in Arkansas for 40 years. I sure would love to go back and fish those area again
I need a trip to Dat area to experience your lovely outdoors, food, & camaraderie. Especially with the redfish. This coming from an all around freshwater old bass guy.
Awesome place in PAC , wish I didn’t live so far away , but got a couple traps soaking by buddy’s camp , will be down there Monday for some trout & red catching , I’ll pick up traps after , really enjoy your videos , keep them coming

Howdy from Broussard! Really like your videos. Very cool camp on the bayou. Hope you guys miss storms for next few years. Keep um coming when you can. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Oooo weeeee! That was some good fun! Nice catch of crabs. I had crab fingers in a restaurant when I traveled to New Orleans for work many years ago. I think they were billed on the menu as Lake Pontchartrain blue crabs. Delicious! Of course a liberal number of cold Jax beers were served, too! Stay safe out there! Whipple
A lot of the crabs around the New Orleans area come from Lake Pontchartrain. If you ever make it back down to Louisiana, go another 45 minutes South of New Orleans to the Houma area. Great food and a lot less crime. Haha! Thanks buddy, you stay safe too!
@@datlouisianalife Thanks. Yes I am. Just got a few hours to myself this afternoon to do some forging in my blacksmith shop. Made a fancy fire poker for my nephew as a gift from his kids for Father’s Day.
I live in MI and love seafood. Doesn't work out very well 😂 I can't imagine being able to just go catch crabs like that. I dream of a crab boil like that 🤤 Awesome video!!
We are blessed to have all the different kinds of seafood at our fingertips. We try to catch most of our seafood but they sell it fresh all around where I live. It's pretty easy to come by down South. Thank you!🦀
Me, too! My uncle from Savannah, GA used to take us to a pier and we let down that string with the chicken neck and pulled up a crab. It was SO much fun...50 years ago and i still remember the thrill!
Great video, love taking the kids out and teaching them the ways of the lifestyle we love so much. New sub here, keep putting out videos and I will keep watching them.
