Apartments are outrageously expensive in my opinion. No wonder there are so many living in Mobile Homes or in a rented room. I’m blessed!

1999 we moved from Jacksonville to Orlando. We had one weekend to find a place with two teenagers and a big dog and cat . We found a brand new apt called Courtney Place off Kirkman Rd by Universal Studios. 2 bedroom/ 2 bath for $1100. ( We were in one of the best school districts Dr Phillips ) We ended up living there 3 years and it was a fun experience with Universal and Seaworld being so close. They made them into condos years after we left. We have owned our own home over 20 years and grateful we are not paying for today’s prices.

If you are moving to Orlando and just started a job, how do you get qualified for an apartment if you don’t have that much pay stubs to show.

    • @jnicolew69

Most places will take a new hire letter as long as it states your wage and if your full time/pt, and/or how many hours you work.

I lived there those apartments are ridiculous if you can pay 3 times the rent go somewhere else and half of these places aren't all that they have bad maintenance and some have at least one or more ghetto neighbors so that is the real reason they want three rents it's because they want to keep the ghetto people out plus make sure that you pay your rent it's not for you they do it to secure their rent and she's making it seem like you have to feel comfortable 😆 so I'm going to advise you to visit to see how they clean they keep these areas and talk to the tenants most tenants love being honest about weather they have a slum lord or not but what she says it's true most likely you have to be like Middle class tenants
