I'm glad you saw this one! We're doing good! We've been very busy with several construction projects and new animals, so videos have taken a backseat for a bit. I do wish we could just do it all, but, I'm happy to always put the animals first :) Hoping to share all the new things we did in 2022 in the new year.

@Searching4Sofia, I would second @UltraSuperDuperFreak's suggestiin of making sure the notification bell is selected for the Animal Wonders channel. Long ago I think TH-cam always notified you for new videos on your subscription, but at some point they started filtering even those notifications with an algorythm. The little bell tells TH-cam you want notifications for this channel. Cheers.
With the sentimental music at the beginning I was so worried you were gonna say Kemosabe didn't make it for the finishing of the new space. So glad to see he's still doing well.

Oh my gosh, I haven't looked in here in such a long time, I'm happy to see that you're still doing a great job! Kemosabe looks like such a little grandpa, you can tell that he's quite old, but he still seems in great health and thriving 😁 his new enclosure looks amazing, I bet that he and his new roommates love it! Was that Seraphina in the background or some other red fox? 🦊

kemosabes is such a GOOD BOIIII love, when i was 14-16 (i am 19 now) your channel helped me through a tough time you helped me raise my parrot and helped lift my mood,one of my fav videos was the video with Tessa Violet the games i found was so funny and educating people who can bring more awareness would love to see more people play some more games with you and your animals.
I've always loved their little hands and Those squeaky noises!!! Adorable. I'm turning 64 so I kind of know how he feels these days

Kemosabe is the cutest and still my favorite! I am so glad he has a bigger space but I will miss the basket! I didn't see that in there anywhere. I can't wait to start getting footage of how they all get along and interact in their enclosure together. Some of my favourite videos are just the long shots of the cavies and guineas and I'm so excited to get to see the little magic moments of them developing their relationships.

There's a prehensile tail porcupine at a zoo that I see videos of (can't remember the name), but he doesn't make the noises Kemo does. Is Kemo more vocal because of living with you? I still go back and watch the SciShow video with Hank and Michael meeting Kemo for the first time. Their reactions are priceless. I'm glad he has some friends to live with. The new room is very nice. 🤗🖖💕

A new Kemosabe video, a great way to start the New Year! I love how Kemosabe is exploring his new space, and that he has some roommates too. Sunny did a good job supervising the construction, lol. You always do a wonderful job making each animal as comfortable and enriched as possible in their space...congrats on another job well done, and Happy New Year too!
I was first introduced to Kemosabe years ago during his appearance on SciShow GameShow. He’s the reason prehensile-tailed porcupines are my favorite! I got the chance to go to the national zoo in DC a few years ago. I watched their porcupines sleep and happy cried. There’s a more local zoo that has a porcupine as well (Rico!). We visited him and I watched him for about an hour and happy cried again.

Kemesabe deserves the room! The only suggestion I'd make is to put in an extra floor. The current second floor should be his third floor. Narrow the space between floors and make it easier on a good old man.

Did you have to train Sunny not to try to fly through the windows?
Nope! We were really happy that she understood the glass was not a space to fly through. She flies all over inside, and we can leave the door open and she'll easily navigate through the opening, avoiding the glass. She likes to perch on top of the door and watch us work. And then, of course, she leaves poop presents for us to clean up, lol.
