I place my greens in the freezer to make it last longer. I use them in smoothies and soup. I agree about items not being available in stores. I recently purchased the Magnesium Flakes for $23.13 for a 6.8-pound container. My local stores here do not even sell the flakes. I was in Houston, which is about 60 miles away from my home, and was at a Whole Foods Store. There, they were selling magnesium flakes for around $20 for a 2-pound bag. That is crazy expensive. Yes, my local stores...Kroger,HEB, and Walmart all have BIO-ENGINEERED ingredients inside the bakery items that are supposedly made within the store. Ugh Now I have to make everything homemade
Cooking from scratch does take more time than premade but it is so worth it! Convenience for our health is not a good trade. About the greens in the freezer…are they limp when you defrost them? I mainly use ours for salads and wraps. Supplements are crazy expensive! I’m currently using CALM which is a magnesium citrate supplement. I have a 4 oz container and it was $12. I only use a half teaspoon at a time so it has lasted but I still consider it pretty expensive. Sounds like you got a pretty good price for a 6lb. container. That should last forever! Thanks for watching! 🌷
I did and it helped some…probably gave me an extra day or two but the paper towel started turning brown after a couple of days and some of the greens started to get mushy so I picked them out. Just seemed to happen too fast. I store my greens in a ziplock bag with a paper towel in it. 🤷🏻♀️ Thanks for the advice. I appreciate it! 😊
I’m excited for garden season also!! When are y’all able to plant? We are in PA and it is still freezing here until mid May. Can’t wait to have garden, I’m over the cold! Lol
Hi! We’re still a bit on the chilly side here as well. We don’t plant outside here until after Memorial Day. Mother Nature has been teasing with high 50s and sunshine but we got more snow yesterday. I’m done with the winter season this year! Ready for spring! 🌱 Visions of lush, bountiful gardens! 🌷😊
New subscriber! I enjoyed watching your video. Great job! We love the spices from Azure, such a good deal. You'll have to let us know how you like the book.
Thanks for joining our adventure! We are so happy you are here. You can't beat Azure spices for sure! I have started the book and am really enjoying it. Joel Salatin has a good amount of solid advice and the topics he's covering in the book came at the perfect time. I'll do a book review when I'm finished. ; )

Sarah put a paper towel in the bag with your spring mix. It absorbs any moisture and the mix will last longer.
