When I read some of the crappy comments on here it is quite obvious to me that there are way too many people who can’t read or hear the warning you have always made at the beginning of your videos. It is also quite obvious that there are too many people here who don’t know the kind of financial damage that groups of pigeons can do. A bird is not a bird is not a bird in other words not all birds are the same. We call pigeons, flying rats in our area due to the damage they cause to our cattle feed and the huge piles of crap they leave on harvesting equipment as well as our vehicles.
Thank you for the supportive comment, Dean. I really appreciate it. I get all kinds of nasty things said to me from clueless and vulgar people. I get it you're in the US. I wish I was close to you, I'd solve your sky rat problem in a few days of weeks.
Hi, Edward. My guns are .25 cal. I don't think they have released those in .25. Plus the FX slugs shoot best out of FX slug liners and both my guns are Edguns. I know they say the Hybrids should work great out of any gun, but I take everything FX and the FX gang say with a pinch of salt. Will definitely try the JSB Knock Outs .25 when they release them.
They’ve been recently released in .25, though availability will vary. All of the independent tests I’ve seen so far say they work fine out of pellet bores. They do on my guns (.22). A box would be worth a try.
Brother, you are so fortunatel to get this awsome pest control farm. There are so many birds to enjoy with your airguns. I whis I live clse by so I can join you as well. What city, state or country are your hunting at. I love whatching your hunting.
Great vid mate, would love to do the same here....don't worry about those bleeding heart sooks. I'm sure if those birds kept shitting on their car and house they would react differently. Keep up the good work, always a good view. Atb, Sean from South Australia.
Great shooting and great video! Pay no attention to the haters in the comment section. Like watching pigeons getting greased! I also find the to be very tasty in a variety of dishes. No gonna lie.........I'm a little jealous! Lol. I wish I had access to such a target rich environment. What rifle was used in this video?
@@AirRifleActivities That 25 Matador is a hammer! I have been really enjoying my new FX Dreamline in 25 cal. They don't look like they are necessary in that particular area that you are shooting, but have you tried any slugs in your Matador?
Not yet, buddy. The American brands of slugs are difficult and quite expensive to get in Europe. It's because of all the political nonsense that's going on. I'd like to wait for JSB to release their Knock Out slugs in .25 and I will definitely try them.
An old Gamekeeper friend used to use the exact same idea for his decoys! The only difference is that he'd put a few hens (flatter head than males) standing or laying at the side of males to imitate breeding. He also used to push strong fencing through the pigeons chest to keep the wings out in different positions! I don't know the reason for this but, he used to bags full of pigeons at the end of the day!
I also do post control around where I stay, and i love watching these videos, your videos, to gain more experience and learn alot about shooting, and that there, that's good shooting, keep them coming
And I thank you for the support, buddy 👍 If you watch my latest videos you'll see that there are places where things are much worse with the flying rats. Stay safe.
Pigeons cause a lot of damage. They're called rock pigeons because they like to nest on rock openings on the cliffs, or in any space in your roof. They'll destroy your entire roof if you let them. But that's why I don't let them. I have a Gamo springer with a $50 Barska scope and that setup works perfect for me, for 15 to 25 yards shots. Every year I just keep shooting them until they stop trying to nest, after about 20 of them. Once they stop I stop. That's it, just pest control.
@@UllaLara you can't "replace" tha eggs. The birds won't follow them. They'll just lay more eggs, they can do that. But the destruction of property comes before the eggs are layed; it happens when the birds are finding open spaces to make their nests. You wouldn't let rats infest your home and chew up and defecate all over your belongings. Why would you let pigeons do that? Why would you spend thousands of dollars to repair the damage that they cause? Use your intelligence not your feelings. Be flexible in your convictions.
Only morons would leave negative comments! Love your videos and keep up the good work brother! Continue uploading great content and I'll continue to watch!
Hi, Andrey. Thank you for the nice comment, friend! I will definitely try slugs with the Matador as soon as JSB release their Knock Out in .25. American slugs like NSA and Varminth Knockers are very expensive and hard to come by in Europe. And so are the Russian brands, like the Katyusha.

Very nice shooting! I did some of this years ago with a Crosman 760. Definitely not as effectively or as mercifully and what you are doing. I was working in a power plant that was starting up after being stored for seven years. We had a lot of pigeon dung to clean up, plus pigeons to run off or get rid of. We had to do this for safety regulations, just to keep our employees from getting sick from diseases the pigeons carry. Later, I was involved with tearing out a different old plant that had been shut down for a long time. The people doing the asbestose removal work had to clear out all the pigeon dung before they could start on the asbestos. They had to use all the same personal protection they had to use for asbestos and follow just as strenuous procedures. I don't know how many hundreds of thousands of dollars was spent just removing pigeon dung as required by regulations. You are doing everybody a service by removing pigeons, whether the people offended by what you are doing know it or not!
Damm good shooting. I don't know why the powder puffs complain so much. They have lots of warning that your killing damm pigeons. Do you think they eat chicken? Or any meat?
I'm absolutely certain they do, Mike. And they prefer to be completely oblivious of the animal concentration camps in which their food is being bred. It's always easier to have someone else do the dirty work for you so that your conscience is "clean". Thank you so much for watching and the support 👍
Mike,it's because they live in a constant state of offended and actively seek things to be upset about. Just a bunch of soy boy wussies. The dumbasses could simply not watch. I don't watch stuff that offends me,but that's too hard of a concept for them I guess.

Thanks, bud, means a lot coming from a fellow shooter🤝
Keep up that good work!!
Thank you, buddy 😊 Will do. New vid coming soon.
Hey Alex another great vid. As far as the negative comments…(again), they are clueless
Many thanks, Chuck 🙂 They absolutely are - believe it or not, just today one guy told me I have so many sins shooting the sky rats, that I must convert to islam to have an atonement... And this is the short version of all the nonsense he poured out on me...
@@AirRifleActivities block them 😉😉
many thanks for super video!!!
I thank you for watching, mate 🤝🙂
I have yet to find one negative commenter here
Have you tried fix hybrid slugs? Less wind effects.
Then I will, Edward 🙂 As soon as they're available here by me.
I say awesome, ignore the snow flakes, and keep up the good work.
Cheers Kevin
Thanks, Kevin, I really appreciate it 👍 Guys like you make it all worth it.
Brother, you are so fortunatel to get this awsome pest control farm. There are so many birds to enjoy with your airguns. I whis I live clse by so I can join you as well. What city, state or country are your hunting at. I love whatching your hunting.
Thank you, Tony 🙂 I'm in Europe, mate.
Great vid mate, would love to do the same here....don't worry about those bleeding heart sooks. I'm sure if those birds kept shitting on their car and house they would react differently.
Keep up the good work, always a good view.
Atb,
Sean from South Australia.
Thanks, Sean. Really means a lot when I get such a positive feedback and support from a fellow shooter 🤝
I like your shots you make on them birds
Thanks, buddy 🙂 I'm glad you enjoy the videos.
Awesome.
Thanks, mate 👍
I can’t believe it , but I just can’t wait to see the next video. Keep shooting lol
Thank you, John 🙂 I'll keep them coming.
Thank you, brother. Always nice to get such a positive feedback from fellow shooters. I used an Edgun Matador R5M Standard .25.
I'd like to wait for JSB to release their Knock Out slugs in .25 and I will definitely try them.
love the SPLAT GREAT shooting
Thank you, Fred 🙂 I have several of those dedicated to the splat alone - look up SIK in my list of videos, I think you'll enjoy them.
Beautiful video.
Thank you, Mirko 🙂👍
An old Gamekeeper friend used to use the exact same idea for his decoys! The only difference is that he'd put a few hens (flatter head than males) standing or laying at the side of males to imitate breeding. He also used to push strong fencing through the pigeons chest to keep the wings out in different positions! I don't know the reason for this but, he used to bags full of pigeons at the end of the day!
That thing about the females next to the males is a great idea indeed, Andrew 🙂 Thanks, buddy, I will definitely try this the next time I use decoys.
I also do post control around where I stay, and i love watching these videos, your videos, to gain more experience and learn alot about shooting, and that there, that's good shooting, keep them coming
Thank you for watching, friend 👍 It's great to get support from fellow shooters. I'm sure you're doing a great pest control job!🎯
Cool maaaan what gun are you using?
The Edgun Matador R5M Standard .25 cal. Thanks, man 🤝
You pro for snipers and air gun
Thanks, bud, quite an acknowledgement 🤝
Message from the pigeons to us all: eat 💩 (see video with pile of grain). Thank you Air Rifle Activities for standing up for us all! About time.
And I thank you for the support, buddy 👍 If you watch my latest videos you'll see that there are places where things are much worse with the flying rats. Stay safe.
Legal quando vc atira q atinge 2 de uma só vez.cool when you hit 2 at once.
Hey, bud. I'm glad you like the double kills 🙂🤝
footage of the falling frags an even more fascinating than the bullets hit the target )) that the fine sounds )))
Cheers, bud, glad you enjoyed it 🙂 I have more videos with pigeons hitting the ground and more will come soon.
I absolutely agree, Mario. And you don't necessarily need an expensive gun and scope to do some successful pest control 👍 Thanks, buddy.
So sad and disgusting....shooting is not a way to control a population...the only way is to replace the eggs !
@@UllaLara, it's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard so far. Nothing else but shooting helped. No audio systems, no spikes, no decoys, nothing.
@@AirRifleActivities you're 100% correct. Some people express opinions of things that they know absolutely nothing about.
Awesome shooting mate. 👍
Thank you, Chris, I appreciate the positive feedback, buddy 🙂👍 And thanks for watching.
Only morons would leave negative comments! Love your videos and keep up the good work brother! Continue uploading great content and I'll continue to watch!

Nice video ur very good at shooting

Great shooting my friend. You have a new subscriber ✌👍👍 like you slowmotion and great you tell details like wind condition and meters to target 👍👍
Thank you for watching and for subscribing, buddy! I'm glad you enjoy the content 😊👍
That was true satisfaction bro) do u consider to try slugs insted of pellets?
Hi, Andrey. Thank you for the nice comment, friend! I will definitely try slugs with the Matador as soon as JSB release their Knock Out in .25. American slugs like NSA and Varminth Knockers are very expensive and hard to come by in Europe. And so are the Russian brands, like the Katyusha.
@@AirRifleActivities your r5m has an LW or Alfa barrel? recently i've purchase new Alfa barrel polygonal without chock, it sutable for slugs and pellets, guys from matador club in Russia told me that they got excellent results with this barrel using slugs, also in Russia many places where you can order custom slugs or device to produce it, plenty of choises
@@АндрейЛомтев-к1б, it's the standard LW barrel with a choke. About the Alpha Precision I've heard a lot of good and bad things. And I know you have a lot of slugs there, but it gets very expensive to ship to the EU with the political nonsense...
@@AirRifleActivities from a chokeless polygonal barrel even H&N Grizzly slugs fly very well, also if you are interesting u can buy a matrix for slugs and produce them by yourself)
Yes, Andrey, a lot of people tell me so, perhaps I will really get me one of those chokeless polygonals. The funny thing is I ordered the R5M with an Alpha Precision, but the distributor made a mistake and send me one with the standard LW 😄
people would complain about british going from £30 a kilo to £60 a kilo you are doing all a service and helping companys that are requiring your service. I do the same for farms near my location. let mindless idiots complain...

I like the slo-mo, and the narrative. Still new to your channel, I'm not sure where the cats came in, but they're entertaining. Good shooting. Addendum: I noticed the water, so with that and grain I can imagine some good night-time shooting for rats.
Thanks, mate, and welcome to the channel 🙂
A lot of the cats in the rest of my videos too. Unfortunately they won't let me shoot there at night. I managed to shoot several rats there even in daytime.

excellent shooting mate ! .25 cal is an excellent caliber. ever tried slugs instead of pellets ?
Thank you, Mark 🙂 No, I haven't tried slugs yet. VK and NSA are expensive and difficult to come by in Europe. I'd like to try the JSB Knock Outs but they haven't released the .25 cal version yet. I might try the H&Ns too.

Thank you kindly for watching and subscribing 🙂 The gun is the Edgun Matador R5M Standard .25, the scope is the Optisan EVX 6-24x50 F1 and I shot the JSB Exact King Heavies Mk2 34 grain.
Thank you, Bill 🤝 Looks like you have quite extensive experience and are aware of the essence of the problem.

What max distance you shot bird?
My longest recorded shot is about 120 meters. Longest not recorded shot - 158 meters. Thanks for watching, man 👍
Damm good shooting.
