Thats because he only wanted the opened marriage on his side not yours he wanted a hall pass to cheat whenever he wanted and it backfired this will only end up with you two deviorcing in the end
Having an open relationship can be difficult. In this situation, it sounds to me that your husband is being very controlling and trying to manipulate you. I would suggest trying therapy to make sure you're both on the same page, or if you don't want to do that, try a temporary separation. If you find you're happier without eachother, then it might be a sign to get a divorce.
The thing is opening a closed relationship for many is a last attempt at making a failing relationship work. Or it's an AH pressuring someone who isn't into it. So of course most are going to fail. Because the relationship is already in trouble.
I'll never understand this open marriage 💩. Just admit that you want green lighted to cheat on your spouse. I've yet to hear one of these stories where both spouses are happy in this "situationship." NTA and just get divorced already.
Sounds like you both had different idea's of what an open marriage actually meant. He wanted his other partners to be flings where they focus on the physical aspect, but you wanted an emotional connection, to actually date others. This was a miscommunication on what an open marriage actually meant and looked like for the two of you. He's probably hurt that you're seeking out your emotional needs from others, when he thought it would only be the physical. Have a talk with him about these feelings - and communicate more clearly on what your "open marriage" actually looks like. It seems to me that you just miscommunicated- you had two different ideas of what opening the marriage meant.
Don't people think about their kids when their in an open relationship, what that will do to their relationships with their children in the future when their children understand what their parents are doing, i couldn't imagine being with another woman when I'm married to someone i loved
Why get married if you have an open marriage. That is the stupidest thing I ever heard. Just don't marry.😮 Just be sex partners and see who ever you what!

Many such cases.

I mean clearly they were both happy until the husband realised that she would also have her own love life outside of him
@@MeanieMelatonin He's probably not doing as well. He's definitely jealous.
As usual the person who asked to open the marriage ends up running it even more than the other person.
This is why you shouldn't open marriages
