    How do you install the self adjusting clutch? Do i need a special tool? I got a clutch kit and the springs are compressed already. That means is ready for installation?

    So would this self adjusting plate cause the clutch pedal to feel very firm after a 6k rpm pull then go back to normal? I have an 08 TL type s

      No, it would not. The self adjusting mechanism should have a consistent feel throughout the life of the clutch.

    Ok I came here to see what kind of clutch I need to put in my 2000 F150 V6. This has helped me understand what kind of clutch I need to get. I think it came with a self adjusting clutch but its been on there since it was brand new. Its grinding in 3rd gear and hard as hell to get into reverse first thing in the morning. I was wondering what would be my best option to get for my truck I do have a grass cutting buissness on the side so I do some towing. What would be my best option?

      Hi! Thanks for the message. Unfortunately we are not really experts in Ford trucks, we specialize in Honda and Acura cars. Your issue could be related to the clutch but maybe nothing to do with the type of clutch it is. We recommend getting a professional diagnosis.

      @@hunterfoster1714 your issue wouldn't be the clutch if it's not in all gears.

    Will a non self adjusting clutch feel different at the pedal than a SAC?

      A little, the non-SAC part has a little more direct feel. It's generally more to the liking of the enthusiast driver. This SAC thing was just a dumb call by Honda. I am sure they had their reasons (probably was cheaper). But ditching it is a good idea.
