What a great castle, we're hoping to get about Scotland this year and come see some of your beautiful sights. Lovely drone shots around Dirleton! Thanks for sharing 🏰
What a stunner! That rock outcrop just screams castle does it not. This is definitely a place I need to visit. Thank you so much for taking the time and trouble to make and share this series. You're a star 🌟
@@thecastlegirl7033 that's in New Zealand I believe. We have Casa Loma in Toronto but it was built in the 1900's because the owner loved castles! (So it isn't a real castle 😉).

I visited Dirleton castle back in 1980. It was not fenced off then. It's quite impressive. Thanks for featuring it!
Looks like a very interesting castle to visit! Thanks for sharing!

Thank you for all your feedback. So glad you appreciate my channel. ❤️🏴
Hello from Canada 🇨🇦
I enjoy your videos! There's a grand total of zero castles over here 😂
Larnach Castle is the only one you have!

Although we do have forts from the 1700's and 1800's. I live very close to one. Fort Langley in British Columbia
Oops sorry I posted that in the wrong chat. 🙃
I live in dirleton
Who were the masons that built these castles on your channel? Where was the rock quarried?
so would that have been a drawbridge? seems like it would have a moat but I guess just being build on the rocks makes it high enough to need a bridge
