I grew up in North Berwick. My Sister was married in Dirleton Kirk. My dad was a Kirk Elder, and both he and my mother had their funeral services in the church.........I went to school with Keith Stewart, whose family used to own the The Dirleton Castle Hotel, just across from the actual castle car-park and whose family home was next door to the Castle. We used to play Softball(rounders with a baseball-bat and soft-ball) on the village green opposite the Castle grounds.............This has brought back many happy memories....... and a few tears........... Your video literally brought my heart to its knees and I teared up. I wish my father could have seen these images paired with this incredibly powerful classical piece.Thank you for this video. I come from the line of Sizergh (and before that de vaux). My father would have LOVED to have seen this video God rest his soul; however, he didn’t know what rest was that man never sat down!
