This 4 sounds fine. It's higher pitched than the 5 and the 5 sounded way better. But this 4 doesn't as bad as folks are saying it does. Can feel the heft, solidity of this car in this drive.
I like the sleek simple design of the Car
A bit dated now but the V60 T6 still remains one of my favorites. The blend of sport & practicality doesn't get better than this.

Volvo should of stuck to their i5 and i6 engines, that’s what made Volvo a little bit more special
I6 isn't fuel efficient, I'm not sure about the I5 but most likely it's not either. The thing is I really like these twincharged engines, they are powerful, potent and efficient but my main concern would be the reliability, I couldn't find the exact answer. Volvo should have really stuck with their 6 speed manuals...

i haven't owned a Volvo, reliability wise how are they compared to a BMW. I have a 5 series wagon with no problems... knock on wood. BMW dost have a good wagon anymore.

I just bought a 2017 S60 T6 in the same color. Identical to this except it’s a sedan. Amazing car.
This is just Volvo at their best. Perfect blend of comfort, style, luxury, and performance.
The other advantage of the ‘17/18 models is, since the S60 got a redesign in 2019, they’ve depreciated even more. Mine was $24k with 20k miles off a sticker of $53k.
What is luxury in this? It's so noisy, you can hear the wheels and all the bumps...
Aisin TG-81SC gearbox is shitty one.
Acceleration is nothing special.
Multimedia system is outdated even for 2017, they don't even support this Navi system anymore.

The earlier versions, especially 2015, with the freshened look AND the I6 are better than the last few years with the 4 cylinder. Gobs of effortless torque and sounds better making it. The 8 speed is better than its six, but it's still faster even hamstrung with that transmisison

@@AndrewNguyenOfficial I guess I wasn’t very clear I know for fact the 4 cylinder ones burn oil I don’t believe the i6 ones do but look up the specific engine in that car cans see if it burns oil Volvo has had lots of problems with that design on the rings in those drive e 4cyl engines it may have the same oil burning design

This is a 2018. S60 and V60 got a redesign for the 2019 Model year. Not the 2018 Model year lmfao

It's going to be replaced by spring 2019 at the latest. It's fast, super comfortable, handles well, super safe, and it doesn't draw negative attention from criminals or the envious. If state of the art buttons on a screen to push makes a difference, wait.

Too bad the engine sounds like a Corolla. The German competition has more refined 2.0 turbo 4 cylinders. The older 3.0 turbo 6 is a much nicer experience. Volvo thinks we don't care about such trivial matters as the aural experience while driving our $53K premium sport wagons.
Pete Jr I agree about the sound, but in terms of performance, it might be even better than the German competition, because it produces the same HP (T5, ~250) on regular gas.
Yazir Nauhm-Barrios the one time I put 87 in my t5 v60 driv-e it was noticably slower and I only got 32 on the highway instead of 37 on 93. Not to mention it had pre ignition problems and would cut timing when I floored it. Fixed now with the spark plug recall though.
Interesting. I get 37 HWY; I've never had pre-ignition problems, and it has never cut timing on me when flooring it, on 87 octane, which is what the vehicle is approved for from the factory. The 4 cylinder turbo from BMW sounds terrible. None of these 4 cylinder sound good or are very refined
This is the R-Design model, the Momentum and Inscription trims have much quieter engines. Plus, this is pre redesign.
