    I can already tell how this comments section will look, people seem to be under the impression that they'll be forced to give up their ICE bikes at gunpoint and seem to want to hate everything electric, we all love the sound a bike makes and manufacturers know this, synthetic fuels are coming to keep them running, but EVs can coexist with them, it doesn't have to be for you and that's absoletely fine, real motorsport fans should be glad to see any innovation in the space, i'm excited to see the next few years and solid state state batteries finally hitting the market to adress range anxiety, glad a manufacturer like Ducati is getting involved

      Your missing the part where through subsidies or outright bans, they are shoving these products on the public. That is why I am upset, if its viable and wanted then the public will buy them. Feels like we are all being cheated by people in power trying to make themselves money. I am all for inovation, personally I appreciate the technology but as far as the looks, this bike looks bland, boring, thats the only stunning thing, that people would work that hard and then present that.

      @@timfarley274 frankly, they need to be shoved on the public. The free market ain't gonna work quick enough if we actually intend to reduce emissions. I love motorcycles, but there's a bigger issue here.

    With a range of 7 laps, you wouldn’t be going far on a road version, range is the issue technology hasn’t caught up with, ok with a car as lots of space for batteries, the technology needs to make the leap to get the range up and charging times down.

    225kg, 150hp and FASTER than a V4 sp?
    I just don't see how this is possible.

      My sentiments exactly. There are cruisers with better power to weight ratios.

    What a stunning looking bike! For a while I completely forgot all my worries about electric bikes- range, charging time and, in my case how would I charge it as I don't live next to a road? (not to mention cost) and just lusted after it! 🙂

    Looks good ya but its electric and no one cares. If this guy was honest, he'd never be invited to Ducati again.

    Hasn’t anyone noticed the rocketing electricity price? If you could find a charging station, and had a couple of hours to spare, who could afford tomorrow’s charging price? Oh yes, electricity has already stated to be rationed in Europe. Ummm!

    Stunning looking bike unbelievable technology , ,
    Still not convinced by electric, hopefully manufacturers will come up with a fully blown engine running on hydrogen or something similar 🤔

    • @evolv.e
      @evolv.e ปีที่แล้ว

      Hydrogen is non-practical, prohibitively expensive, less efficient than electric, has little to no infrastructure, dangerous, and lacks in performance.
      The class leading electric motorcycle, Enérgica on the other hand has led Moto-E since 2019, has the NHRA back to back records for quarter mile acceleration, has the longest range per charge, highest ft/lb torque available on a production bike, and charges the quickest.
      If hydrogen stood a chance, Honda, Suzuki, Kawasaki, Yamaha, Harley, Ducati, BMW, KTM, and others would have put their R&D there. Instead, each of these manufacturers have either working prototypes or have production electric bikes for sale today.
      Even companies like Toyota that have invested billions in hydrogen have announced that they are moving away from further development and going electric instead, as Toyota has fallen far behind in vehicle electrification and has announced as of a month ago they will be investing 5.4. billion to transition to electric between 2025-2030. Honda who had also previously invested in hydrogen are nearly spending as much to transition to electrification.

    Electric: Zzzzzz. When I'm forced into electric in 2035 I might be very, very, slightly interested, but I'll be 78 then - if I'm still alive.

    This is the only Ducati that will actually have hotter temperatures under the seat than a Panigale haha

    • @evolv.e
      @evolv.e ปีที่แล้ว

      How? I own two electric motorcycles and they produce virtually no heat.

    • @tractioncontroldelete
      @tractioncontroldelete ปีที่แล้ว

      @@evolv.e EVs don’t rely on internal combustion or internal burning in other terms, however, they still produce heat energy. A small throwback to science class: heat is produced from the movement of tiny particles like atoms and molecules. In an internal combustion engine, the higher temperature makes the particles move faster.
      In an electric motor, although there is no combustion happening, the movement of electrons from the battery to the motor causes heat to be released. Also, the acceleration and braking systems are built on friction which causes heat energy to be released.

    • @evolv.e
      @evolv.e ปีที่แล้ว

      @@tractioncontroldelete virtually no heat.. I didn’t say zero heat. When I place my hands on the motor or battery after I long ride, there s a little bit of heat but far less than what one would feel from an internal combustion engine.
      I still don’t understand how you deduce that an electric Ducati would “actually have hotter temperatures under the seat” as from felt from the outside with a bare hand, heat generated by the battery & motor are far less than any ICE bike I’ve owned. Are you referring to the temperatures generated internally by the motor windings, etc?
      If so, then I can see the point you’re making, but that heat is so well dissipated thermally throughout its casting and connected parts that the overall heat felt and radiated from the exterior is barely perceptible.
