In this video i cover "Smooth Avatar", "UV Editor", "Slash & Spread" and "Transform OBJ Trims". Slash and spread can be used between any two border lines not only points and it will create an internal line by default in the process To see the rest of the new features and a more detailed explanation, follow this link www.marvelousdesigner.com/learn/LearnMD7_5 Learn how to create this dress via this link th-cam.com/video/W8oRjWt9lhA/w-d-xo.html
Also, it'll be good for simulation as well. What if people edit the cloth in ZBrush and want to import it back into Marvelous Designer for simulation? Sucks that we don't have that option, thank god for nCloth and Syflex but it would be a nice bonus feature in MD
Some features, i really think they should had that from the start. Especially this avatar subd edits. So much easier than doing a new export, import bla bla bla.
So, smoothening cancels the work flow in zbrush for correcting the costume isn't it?
Is there any plans and hopes for a Manual Transform (type in) feature so users can specify the exact positioning of objects in world space?
Smooth Avatar! Hurray!
Yup! A great addition!
why they added UV editor, if the final result for production in marvelos can not be achieved, and you need to do anyway retopology

I honestly have no idea.
I dont get why the fabric textures dont matchup with the UV editor. Totally baffles me
What they need to add is the ability to convert UVs to 2D shapes. That way, we can import an OBJ cloth and further customize it

@@tstone9151 You can simulate an imported obj. It just dosent have a 2d pattern. You are limited on tools and settings you can use on it.
Cee Jay that’s not the case anymore, with MD8, we can convert our obj’s UVs to Patterns. So it seems like they listened to my prayers

True but its here now so that's all that matters.
hahah what you sound like an MD ambassador ;)
