    it was me, who asked about coming back to 100 hundredths! thanks for the demonstration, you were right, it did not make any difference. how did you do to advance 8 degrees the cam, the gear has a bushing? or the crankshaft gear had slots to advance/retard the cam? PD: I had the same calculator when I was in primary school, always when I see it remember me those days hahaha.. thanks for sharing your knowledge Brent like always! regards from Argentina

      I use good timing sets with multiple key ways.

    I don't know if you have already discussed this.when finding tdc with piston stop how far down do you want the piston? how much will factory pin offset affect the accuracy at say .050 to.1in.of piston depth from tdc?

      It doesn't matter how far down it is. Only thing that matters is that it comes back to the same number after you correct it.

      Hey Brent great content. I would like to use the standoff pipes on my 351c. The block has the large hole in the front china wall. Do I need to leave the rear most standoff out to allow oil to drain back given there are only the four Valley holes and nothing in the rear of the block?
