Great vid. I have a suggestion for your edc kit, truck kit, etc. that I learned when I was in the IDF. Print out an index sized list of everything inside and laminate it. Then, as you rotate things out or use them, use a marker to indicate what's been used/missing on the laminated card so that you can easily restock and check invintory. I use this in my medical & boo boo kits, tools and things in my truck, hiking pack, and edc backpack. Plus, marker is easily washed off of laminated surfaces so you don't have to print a new one every time you are down a bandaid. I am definately a person that will forget to restock my kits no matter how many times I tell myself that I won't, so the laminated cards are a great reminder.
One thing that I've noticed watching your EDC videos (maybe I just missed it each time) is that you don't have any bandanas. Bandanas have infinite uses like: face mask, head covering, tourniquet, tissue, sweat towel, clean a spill, wipe your hands etc etc etc and they take up next to no room and even fold perfectly to pocket size and you forget they're there. Definitely something to add because they not only have survival uses but everyday real-world uses
Hey man awesome vid you might also want to consider adding in an empty gallon or quart ziplock then it gives you something to treat the water in and adds very little weight to the setup
Masks mainly protect others. Not you. Which is a good reason as well to wear them I guess. Alcohol does not protect against virusses, but it does against bacteria. So it is a good thing to have.
you all prolly dont care but does anybody know of a trick to log back into an instagram account? I somehow forgot the login password. I would love any tricks you can give me.
@Felipe Clayton I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff now. Seems to take quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
I have the maxpedition version and it's loaded pretty similar but the water purification and nuke pills are in the first aid kit. Which of course is also in my backpack. Thanks for sharing, it's great to see what other people carry and I always get some good ideas from you. Take care.
Those scissors are perfectly fine for airlines as they are less than 4 inches from the fulcrum. If you get stopped by TSA, they will look at it, and send you on your way...
love you thought process behind you gear setup man, covering everything from the "never gonna happen" rad. tablets to the spare tam-poon for the lady, great mix of extreme "what-ifs" meets everyday "oh shits" I showed your previous breakdown yto my girlfriend and she agreed that I should "keep a spare" for her so you earned some brownie points with her too
been checking out your vids since your first appendix carry vid. Good stuff. hopefully your channel will gets the subscription numbers it deserves soon.
Good selection of stuff. As your we’re talking about the bands and such what came to mind was having a sheet of moleskin . Just a thought. Thanks for the video 🙏🏻
Hey man, I know this is an older video but I really like your stuff!! Anyways, I just wanted to suggest a few things you could add that has always come into handy with my gear.. Basic medicine: Tylenol and Motrin. Reason for both is because they have different properties but the similar results. Some people are allergic to the pain released acetaminophen in Tylenol. So the alternative is ibuprofen in Motrin. It’s good to have both. Also another important one is Allergy medicine. I carry both drowsy and non-drowsy for different situations obviously, but it’s good to have both and the pill form because if you need direct affect to a bite you can crush it up and apply to the bite area as well as taking it. They’ve come in handy and I feel like it would complete your bag! You can get little tube size bottles that hold 10 or so at cvs or Walgreens. You could get a slim pouch with a zipper and a clip of some sort that you could clip to one of those anchor points at the top of the bag too! Anyways brother, keep up the good work!
One thing that I really wish is that these items are easily available in my country (I mean other than amazon; living where postal service is horrible)
I see a potential mistake with this pouch that I myself made and lots of other people do. The gorilla super glue takes like 24 hours to cure. I needed to use it one day and wound up straight out of luck. I no longer carry it and got something that cures to usable fairly quickly. I thought I was doing good by going with the gorilla brand as their products are fantastic, just that particular glue isn't very useful.
I’d also carry some aspirin in the event someone is having a heart attack. Especially when you’re a while away from medical facilities, like on a flight.
Wish you had tried the backpack on, just for my own info...but great video. I was searching for videos on this backpack and was like, of course Mike has the backpack I want. Haha
What kind of wallet do you carry EDC Wallet? Hope everything gets better for you soon! Please put more videos, they are the best Love looking at all your gear and those beautiful guns
You could add a foldable solar panel like the ones from XT to your big backbag. They are not that big, I carry one in my 5.11 Tac Rush 24 front bag zipper part... I dont think it's literally named like that, but you maybe know what I was thinking about. It's pretty small, relativ cheap and it gives you a little amount of energy while the sun is out. Could fit in the part which was made for the laptop. :) Greetings from Germany, I hope my english wasn't that bad! :D
I live in CT but am thinking about moving to CO, probably Denver area. How do you like it? I am 25 and have never been to CO. You can guess what kind of person I am by the fact I watch your channel, but I also like a decent night life
Condoms degrade if stored outside certain temperature ranges. Reduces effectiveness, increases chances that they can tear from friction. Probably shouldn't be stored in an EDC bag that might be left in a hot car from time to time, or all the time.
hey how can i get some info on your appendix carry holsters with the extra mag pouch attached to it? i was thing of getting one for my m&p9c if you make them for that model gun... curious on the cost and shipping lead time. thanks alot for the great videos you put out.
Great video! Thank you for sharing. Do you find yourself utilizing a lot of the items? I’ve made lots of purchases and found myself not using lots of items and many went expired.
Hey, I watched this and your Gamut videos, they're awesome, thanks. I like the idea of the small "do not fly" bag that contains stuff that can't be in carry-ons. In doing so I put my bic lighters in the do not fly bag. Then I watched this video and saw you have lighters in your Vanquest bag. I'm not sure you can have the lighters in your carry-ons. Just, FYI. Thanks again for making these videos, I've pretty much 75% shamelessly copied your setup.
Lighters are all good! Flown with them, idk like 20+ times and never been hassled. Technically they can take whatever they want, but I've never had an issue.
i've never had my bic lighters taken but i had a cheapie ronson butane lighter that i loved, that, hilariously, was taken one time i was flying through denver. they never said a thing about it except for one trip, and the nice tsa lady just needed a lighter.
Great video, enjoyed it very much. But cause I'm very new to all this type of stuff I started going through the comments and no one mentioned the tampon. Since it is included I'm sure it has a use other than what it was originally designed, but wtf? Is it for bad cuts or what, because if that's the case I would have thought a pad would have been better. Please explain. I am genuinely curious.
Does anybody know the brand of hand sanitizer that is/where to get it? I'm looking for small "pen-sized" tubes of hand sanitizer and sunscreen similar to the one in this video. Thanks in advance!
Great video. I would add a small torch and power bank if room allows :) I saw another youtuber mention having a USB with useful information on it. Some great ideas. I'm not into weapons, most of your vids lean in that direction, however between this and your tips on situational awareness I'm subing to show you support :)
Thanks! Yeah, I have somewhat mixed thoughts on the USB of information, I can see the value of it, but also wouldn't want it to fall into wrong hands, etc. As far as the torch and power bank - those are parts of the larger system that this pouch is a piece of. :)
cool, makes sense. I have mixed feelings about keeping a written contacts list for the same reason. I have an "ICE"- in case of emergency, contact listed in my mobile. Lucky for me I live in a friendly, low crime, country area.
Thanks for the idea bro! Gonna use the link to buy one, and possibly do a video as well! Love the videos, just started doing youtube myself. It would be awesome to get with you and do a video together! Stay safe bro!
@@LastLineOfDefense - no.. just making a snarky comment about the size/weight of the backpack you showed in the beginning... can't imagine carrying something like that everyday unless you are heading into the unknown!
Great vid. I have a suggestion for your edc kit, truck kit, etc. that I learned when I was in the IDF.

Great idea, thanks for sharing it!
NotHunterCooper That also is a good idea for someone who is trying to help you if you are down so they can see what's available at a glance
NotHunterCooper You wernt in the idf 😂😂 why you lying
Watching this in 2022 and I was trying to figure out why you had sanitizer and masks in your EDC in 2017! 😂

I keep coming back to this video. It's so essential to be prepared like this set up!
This helps me with ideas. I got one of these for Christmas and haven't filled it up with very much yet. Thanks for the videos!
I really enjoyed your video. You kept my attention and I appreciate your suggestions! Jeremy @ Vanquest Team
You should also look into an assortment of sowing needles.....
came back to this video to say this: Vanquest gear rocks. Love those guys.
Flu masks looking good now
Masks mainly protect others. Not you. Which is a good reason as well to wear them I guess. Alcohol does not protect against virusses, but it does against bacteria. So it is a good thing to have.
Masks protect no one from viruses. Facts. They are actually detrimental to your health. Wake up people!
Keep a little bag of baking soda. It will instantly harden super glue. Ive used it a few times and it works amazing.
Watched this again to get an idea on how to do my pouch. That mask part hits different now... lol
you all prolly dont care but does anybody know of a trick to log back into an instagram account?
I somehow forgot the login password. I would love any tricks you can give me.
@Solomon Elisha instablaster ;)
@Felipe Clayton I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff now.
Seems to take quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
@Felipe Clayton it did the trick and I now got access to my account again. I am so happy:D
Thank you so much, you really help me out !
@Solomon Elisha You are welcome :)
Not sure if it has been mentioned or not yet, but maybe adding steri strips to your med kit would be good
I have the maxpedition version and it's loaded pretty similar but the water purification and nuke pills are in the first aid kit. Which of course is also in my backpack. Thanks for sharing, it's great to see what other people carry and I always get some good ideas from you. Take care.

You should give the Oakley Chamber range backpack a try. Had one for about a year now and love it

been checking out your vids since your first appendix carry vid. Good stuff. hopefully your channel will gets the subscription numbers it deserves soon.
Haha, I don't know how to grow a channel - either needs more boobs, or more explosions I think...
Last Line Of Defense Start with the boobs first😜
Hooray boobies! :-P
I've never seen so much stuff crammed into such a small package.
I have the maxedition bag like this one. a lot of stuff in that little bag.
Thannks 4 sharing.
I need that little case so badly
Good selection of stuff. As your we’re talking about the bands and such what came to mind was having a sheet of moleskin . Just a thought. Thanks for the video 🙏🏻
condoms as an improvised water bladder, a small sewing kit, paracord... those three go in my EDC.
Great video Mike I have a smaller kit that has a lot of the same stuff in it but you definitely gave me some great ideas thanks bro.
great video. my pack is like yours, that friend who has everything. Meds, tape, etc...
I noticed there wasn't a compass or any other navigation devices. I always enjoy watching your videos, great content. Hope everything is going well!
Good vid. First one I’ve seen with a tampon included. What gave you that idea?
That reminds me I need to replenish my mask in my EDC bag. I ground up some peppers that I had dehydrated and used the mask.
Hey man, I know this is an older video but I really like your stuff!!

Yup, those pills are in there!
K&Company Smash Scissors. Nice! I got them too!
Missing some individual wrapped dude wipes for that occasional shart 🤣
Awesome vids both this and the EDC backpack one, you're really prepared that's my goal at some point
Nice man, I'm glad you're taking steps towards becoming more prepared!
You should have coin cell battery in there for your car key since having that dying is horribly annoying
I have a similar pouch. Love vanquest stuff
Nice review...I hope to one day purchase one of your holsters. Keep up the good work.
One thing that I really wish is that these items are easily available in my country (I mean other than amazon; living where postal service is horrible)

It’s good to carry the glue gun sticks, you can melt them with a liger and they stick instantly.
I’d also carry some aspirin in the event someone is having a heart attack. Especially when you’re a while away from medical facilities, like on a flight.
Where did you buy the pen scissors? What’s the name of the company? I need one for my pouch.
Wish you had tried the backpack on, just for my own info...but great video. I was searching for videos on this backpack and was like, of course Mike has the backpack I want. Haha
please link where you get various poly bags! Love your videos keep it up!

Hahahahaha "I use the bit kit quite a bit" (no pun intended)
What jacket/coat are you wearing and where did you get it?Nice kit. Thanks for the video.
That’s a nice “small” water filter straw. Where did you get it? Thanks or sharing.
Really awesome, I've seen also the video about backpack, but where are a condoms?)
Condoms degrade if stored outside certain temperature ranges. Reduces effectiveness, increases chances that they can tear from friction. Probably shouldn't be stored in an EDC bag that might be left in a hot car from time to time, or all the time.
"I use them quite a BIT"! Ha! So punny
Little late to the party with watching this lol. Great video and loving the jacket, like the camo pattern. What make is it please ?
🤦🏼♂️ sorry just watched your other video where you said what it was.... monger have to get one👍🏻
hey how can i get some info on your appendix carry holsters with the extra mag pouch attached to it? i was thing of getting one for my m&p9c if you make them for that model gun... curious on the cost and shipping lead time. thanks alot for the great videos you put out.

Heat blanket? Poncho? Dinosaur saddle?

No, it's simply to save the day if your wife/gf or random female is in desperate need.
1:29 So you use the Bit Kits quite a "bit", you say?
Haha, I noticed that as well!
Where do you get all the little different size baggies.
Second request for where you get your little zip lock baggies. Thanks for the video.
There's a link in the backpack video description.
I keep finger nail clippers. I hate my nails being long
You should maybe consider building kits like this and selling them? Great videos though. Sub.'d.
Great video. your audio in the beginning was a bit wonky ( to much bass )
Does anybody know the brand of hand sanitizer that is/where to get it? I'm looking for small "pen-sized" tubes of hand sanitizer and sunscreen similar to the one in this video. Thanks in advance!
Where do you get the clear storage bags? I assume it's something other than ziplock?
Does that "Anti radiation pill" box have "100% cyanide" written on it? Never heard of such a thing. What does it do?
Great video. I would add a small torch and power bank if room allows :) I saw another youtuber mention having a USB with useful information on it. Some great ideas. you need to check out CENTER LINE SYSTEMS AWESOME GEAR.......
you should make and sell this kit
Thanks for the idea bro! Gonna use the link to buy one, and possibly do a video as well! Love the videos, just started doing youtube myself. It would be awesome to get with you and do a video together! Stay safe bro!
"I use em quite a bit" haha
I like your stuff you are a good guy, could I get a patch
Nice, gave me some good ideas.
What kind of jacket are you wearing? Lol TIA
where did u get that jacket i love it?
No 18650 batteries for your o lights?
i would allow for barter items, carry a couple extra fire starter or other popular trade item ?
Popular trade item? Are firestarters something you're often asked for?
Do you have any cant on your appendix iwb holster ?
Where could I pick up a LLOD patch?
Where do we go to buy a holster from you?
How do I get that LLOD morale patch??
Any updates in 2022?
Thanks!
Good!
Nice!
5:45 A tampon, ya'know...
Seriously... what's the tampon for?
To save the day when the gf, or some other female, has an emergency.
Last Line Of Defense ...cool that you actually replied Lol.. One of my favorite channels. great videos! Keep up the good work bro.
Nice
Nice kit... but have you ever thought about doing a "rant"-video to... talk yourself out? Just an idea.
Fingernail clippers!
Teeth
Lol... you forgot one item in your EDC.... a friend to carry that 40lb behemoth with you everywhere.... Bring on the zombies!!!!!
I haven't watched this vid in awhile - are you referring to the roughly 2 pound small pouch, or something else?
@@LastLineOfDefense - no.. just making a snarky comment about the size/weight of the backpack you showed in the beginning... can't imagine carrying something like that everyday unless you are heading into the unknown!
Oh a 'slim laptop backpack' you think would give you issues? Sucks.
You do know there is no such thing as a "anti radiation" pill right?
Those masks are great for covid lol
Bro the camo...why
A male has no reason what so ever to carry a tampon! wth man
Lol, ooof insecurities
does ur purse make u feel like a real lady?
