I also thought Kanaria was a girl when Requiem got released, since I haven't tried to learn about him or listened to his songs before it (outside of the multiple cover of King). It's only when Neverfiction got released and he started vtubing that I understood it was a boy. And to be honest, it is still confusing since his avatar is quite androgynous, like his voice.

Unlike Mafumafu voice which sound really soft during singing Kanaria's voice still sound harsher as male voice usually does so does people actually miss this?
Even before he had a vtuber model, I always thought he was male. I automatically think vocaloid producers are male because there's very few renowned female producers.
@@tatari3777 I think mainly because of the thumbnail kanaria used in his Requiem video, where he was wearing a bunny girl outfit, so probably got misunderstood from there, but yeah other than Suisei, he himself also confirmed he's a male on his debut stream

His avatar is androgynous and his singing seemed more feminine to me though his speaking voice is pretty clearly masculine to my ears.

The thumbnail also has he so idk why Yuna used "she" for part of the video, probably an honest mistake and it was too late to change it or something.
