After other Holomens talking about Suisei off camera she is very much a "little sister", with means she is more a child-like personallity and probability does have 0 interest in romance. To be fair, since she does love being a singer its better have this kind of mindset.
@@hello-im well, she get married just after few months know each other. and consider her age, maybe she felt pressure or something, from her parent perhaps?😒

(Although not getting confessed to, even in school, is a bit wild 😐 surely someone found her overwhelming aura intriguing)

Most sci-fi writers have never been to another planet and fought aliens, but they can still convey it in fiction to a point that it hooks people. Sometimes you don't need to go through something to describe it or work with it. I think there are plenty of popular romance authors who never were in a relationship. It's true that reading a lot of love related media probably gives culturral osmosis which helps too. In the end romance stories are fantasies. They don't have to be realisitc, just like love songs are completely over the top.
I get what you're saying but as an aro ace writer, romance is particularly hard for me to tackle since I have absolutely no frame of reference to draw from. I guess it's like an RG color blind person trying to paint or a chef tryna make desert with no sugar taste buds. At least with sci fi or action, there are other emotions to draw from. Hopelessness the current socio-economic climate, fear of dying etc etc makes for good underpinnings. Romance feels completely foreign and I can't even empathize with most characters in other novels. Not saying sui chan is aro ace but I relate to her a lot lol. I also make songs, and writing about romance feels very cerebral and my process looks similar to hers.
@@KT-lt4fy To use your own comparison, while you may not understand sexual attraction, you still understand human bonds. You most likely care about family or friends. I don't think about the relationship status or sexualities of Hololive members much, though it would be untrue to say I never thought about it (especially in response to seeing other people speculate). And with how career oriented Suisei is I long have had the idea that she might be aroace (both at once or either one). Especially in comparison to most other Hololive members, who bring up topics of romance more often then her (even if it is still rather rare for most of them). She seems even more career focused than most (though there certainly are others with similar levels of dedication). Not that it matters, nor do I really care about it much but the thought sometimes pops up when the conversation happens to go in that direction.

She doesn't need to get married because she's already married to Miko and Fubuki, they both visit her house every week and go out together, it's a marriage in which they each live in their own separate house
From all of the Sui-tidbits and knowing some people with similar dispositions, Suisei definitely comes of pretty clearly as aromantic. There's no real ups or downs to it, just a part of who she is as a person - there isn't a need for a romantic relationship as part of her personal fulfillment.

It is rare for someone like Suisei to not be married. Maybe she’ll get there once she is 40 as it is quite common with a Japanese/Korean celebrities. It is a fact that most woman who originally thought of not being married changes their mind eventually as their own instinct urges them to have kids. Man it feels weird for me to say this lol

y'all taking her at her word are wild to me... i mean she clearly cant give an honest answer to that question, Holo fans and idol; fans are too parasocial to deal with the truth. she's playing a character and she has to stay on brand no? don't get me wrong, i don't hold it against her or anything, as far as i'm concerned she could be in a relationship for years or be asexual it doesn't make a diff to me. but c'mon now. we all know what the fans are like. no way any hololive vtuber is giving an honest answer to that question lol
Not be honest about their current relationship status, certainly (though Suisei is one of the members I have an easier time believing that they are truly single because of how career focused she is, not having time for distractions). But I don't see a reason to assume that it extends to talk of previous relationships as well (well, it would probably depend on the talent) (also Suisei keeps far away from GFE and fanservice, not doing voicepacks and once stating she would never ever date a fan even if they were a catch. Though I don't disagree that there is reason to still hide your relationship status even if you don't intend to imply that you are available for fans). Marine, Matsuri and some others have talked about having previous relationships iirc. And even looking from a perspective of telling fans that you have never had a relationship, I don't see what "I have never been confessed to" adds when simply "never been in a relationship" would suffice. Also, even disbelieving the bits about relationships (which as you point out, there very much is a valid reason to be dishonest about), why would someone not think she is being honest in the talk about not understanding romance and having a talk about trying to understand? After all, you can be a "pure idol" who has never been in a relationship and still have a very clear idea about what love is (admittedly, it is also possible that you have been in relationships without understanding love). Anyway, all that yapping aside I think there is an even bigger reason why most commenters are taking her at her word. Because for most people honesty is the default assumption rather than dishonesty absent any secondary factors (and here while the context of being an idol does increase the reason to assume dishonesty (which for some people is the stronger impulse even if the default for them might have been to assume honesty) there is also the fact that most people watching a Suisei clip are probably already Suisei/Hololive fans. And even if they are not full on fans of her likely to have a relatively positive disposition/opinion towards her. And people are much more likely to believe people they already like).
You making up a scenario about her lying, then giving her condolences and sympathising with her over your made up scenario is wild. If she wanted to lie she wouldn't have brought it up to begin with, nothing forces her. This pattern of villanising the fanbase to feed your ego isn't healthy. And rather disrespectful to her brand.
You act as if it's normal for the talents to deny ever dating or being in relationships. There are definitely plenty of members in or has been in relationships but they will simply not talk about it or even acknowledge the topic. There's no real reason for her to bring it up herself and talk about it if she just wants to lie when she has told her fans multiple to not fall in love with her and has no issues with collabing with male streamers/singers.
We take her word for it, if she lies then she lies what would you do about it? If it's just about dating she would blatanly say it to our face, she already said it in the past something along the lines of "If I want to I will if you don't like it you can stop supporting me". Also, we don't really care, most of us found out about sui-chan because of her songs we follow her for that, do you talk trash to real singers or artists for getting married? I don't think so.
