Looks like a great bit of kit.....I have knocked the pin out of the DO35 nut so I can undo it, slide the coupling out and take it with me, then lock the chains back so they dont dangle .......works for me, takes 5 minutes.....Enjoying your vids...keep them coming..

Hey guys I’ve had one of those kovix locks for a few years now for my van fitted with DO35 and figured out a little hack you’d interested in, I don’t bother with the anti cutting sleeve but instead put the locking pin through the last link of each chain underneath the hitch that way it can’t be stolen by the chains either.

I was just going to comment that you can still tow off the chains/wouldn't it be nice if you could lock the chains, also.... etc. Nice one. Might look at getting one now. (Edited: Bought one, used the code. Wonderful!)

Great hitch lock ,isolated camp locations always a concern but fantastic camping.Though they are great grinders & 1 mm cutting wheels are the enemy of locks ,definitely secure your chains many are towed away in this way. I have fitted a tracker to the van & cruiser. Safe travel guys.

We have the cruise master hitch lock for D035 and the Witi alarm system which I highly recommend it locks your brakes on so can’t be towed
nice. Unfortunately the Witi system is out of our price budget and for a lot of other trailer owners to expensive. I couldn't imagine fitting a Witi system to a box trailer haha that would be funny though haha I think this lock is cheap, easy to instal and in a lot of travellers budgets!
Don't worry about the witi system either same thing smash the alarm box or easy way is you can use expander foam but in this case you use portable angle grinder and portable bolt cutters.
With witi you cut the brakes so the caravan has no breaks and tow away when we use stolen vehicles we are not concerned the damage to the vehicle we are towing with or the caravan.
Then you have the other type as oppose to those prepared to deal your stuff is the ones that will attack you for your stuff which is on the rise more then the people coming prepared now they will take your life instead. This stuff works only for someone who just rocked up with a car to steal your stuff that is it.
A good gps will be one of your best and good insurance.

Have one myself and thoroughly recommend. There is one design weakness, the speaker is easily muffled with a piece of electrical tape or similar.
We love ours too mate!! The alarm is bloody loud wow it goes off!!
I bought one of these last week and have to agree the sound can be muffled easily but, I have to say I am disappointed with the volume of the alarm when it’s sounds, honestly my standard ringing phone ring tone is louder than the actual alarm going off, not the warning tones. Any suggestions to what I might have missed or not set up correctly?
Very happy with the key/lock and durability though.

We insure it through SGIO which is a WA company and no the accessories arnt covered we have the vehicle as high as possible tho

Asking for a friend , Will this thing go off if your vigorous in the Van some people are heavy footed walking from bed to Loo ? Do you recommend turning OFF the Unit while your inside Van ,Interested in your experiences as you have used it for sometime .
Narh they won’t at all, we have tested it before showing you legends so it’s “howling wind proof” and dosnt go off when your heavy footed either, I’m an elephant in the van without the stabilise legs down too and it’s all good !! It gives you three chances so even if someone knocked it walking past it will beep, so it really tells you when someone is having a crack at your van

Second: hook up the chains and drive away.
If you want to remove it, run a steel drift through that cheap lock, use a jumper box to smoke that annoying alarm..
