Great video. I agree this has to be one of the best most complete edc kits around. Some people look at it like its too much and i look at it like you have all your bases covered. Especially considering how much time you spend on the road. I really enjoyed your video ive watched it twice. Keep up the good work. Big shout out from the central coast of California. Youve got a new sub.
I think the monsoon gear slinger is the biggest sling bag maxpedition makes, but yours is certainly more utilitarian. I used the monsoon on my first trip to Hawaii, and it worked for a carryon luggage solution, but I could never find a way to make it work as an edc without making it bulky and impractical. I sold it a few years ago and now over the last few weeks I’m feeling the pangs of “maybe I could make that work…”
I know the feeling. Funny how attached we get to gear and packs. I gave my son a couple of my best packs and I've come close to replacing them with new ones.
I forgot to come back and let you know that video is up. You can see it at th-cam.com/video/33d9kcB-etE/w-d-xo.html If you get a chance to watch it, let me know your thoughts.
Send me your mailing address and I'll ship it to you free of charge Maddawg. briandhawkins.com (AT) gmail dot com (Two dot coms in my email address). I pulled it off my pack and don't use it.
I addressed that a few times in the video, even showing a photo of the 20-foot walk I have. I don't carry the pack any further than from vehicle to vehicle. I'm a driver, the cab of my truck is my office. It's 25 lbs. with the water bottle.
@@NextStepSurvival I have a similar off brand bag and it weighs 20 lbs with my water bottle and I carry it to work (pistol and fixed blade come out as I work in a hospital) and at least for me I still don't mind the weight. I just adjusted the straps so it sits comfortably.
Wow maxpedition made a ton of $$$ on you, you should buy stock in the company...lol nice kit just little much for me though. Stay safe it's getting crazy
A little much for me too. LOL I get out of control when it comes to kit and gear. My weakness. I was thinking @maxpedition should send me a pack or something for all the free promotion. ;)
For a prep to keep electronic cards is like you go to a curry restaurant and you know they don't have toilet paper....😂😂😂😂 shoking how so many preps are relaying on electronics lol and rechargeable things .....where you gone recharge it in the wild ? ..Wile E Coyote will order an ACME socket for ya?
@aresmaximus1 Not sure why you think I'm going into the wild. 🤔 Even if this was a bugout bag, and it's not, the idea that every SHTF event means grid down is a little strange. Isn't it? And the woods? Really? And you don't have a little solar backup?

Have a similar kit but with a yeti go box. You gave me a ton of ideas. Thank you.
@@sleepnclass Thanks. I'm glad you found it useful. I have a couple more pack videos coming soon.

I never got the monsoon to work for me either after two attempts...
The best fully loaded bag on internet, well done!!!❤
Thanks Cheryl.

Have you thought about doing a video on your charging kits for your electronics, cell phones, flashlights, etc. I think it would be very informative.
I have and it's coming soon. It's set up and ready to record. I may do that before my get home pack just to mix things up a bit. Thanks for watching.

Good video.
Thanks.
where can i get the "next step survival patch" ?
I just made a few of those for my personal packs. I don't have the following yet to offer merch to viewers. Maybe someday. 😊
One more thing. Where can i get a next step survival patch?
I don't have any patches or merch. Not big enough. I just had a few made for my packs.
