"渣男" is the Chinese term for "fuckboy," but its definition might be a bit different from what you think.
Most Western countries have a "dating culture," which means two people hang out and test the waters before they star a serious relationship with each other.
During that period, those two people might do any number of things: go out to dinner, watch movies and, you know, have fun and see if they are suitable for one another.
However, people in Chinese-speaking countries tend to enter into a relationship first and then start the process of figuring out if they're a good match or not.
Because of that, if you happen to be a guy who's slept with a girl and didn't stay with her afterwards, there's a good chance you might be labeled a "渣男".
