DIY Renovation Adventures: Reclamation Yard Finds & Unplanned Setbacks

This weekend's DIY renovation journey began with a visit to a local reclamation yard, where we scoured through tons of unique and reclaimed items for our project. After that, we made a stop at a car boot flea market to find even more hidden gems. With our treasures in hand, Mark jumped into tiling the shower room, while Rowan and I tackled some much-needed hedge trimming. However, Sunday threw a wrench into our plans, and our DIY renovation came to an unexpected halt. Still, we're excited to turn our flea market and reclamation yard finds into beautiful home features soon!

Louisa, oh how thankful you are feeling better, I bet you & Mark that is just scary ! years ago I left work went straight to the ER and after all the tests etc the doctor thought it was chest inflammation of the chest muscles. The view of your home from outside is so lovely reminds me of the cottage in Holiday movie. take care of You friend. blessings Paula

If the top shelf is not attached on the pantry piece, just cut off from the bottom one or two shelves. It was great. You need someone with a backhoe to just take the hedge out and start again.
