Yeah that was impressive. There's a good chance I would have conceded there out of frustration. You could actually see the frustration on Reid's face (which itself is unusual), but he stuck with it and showed why his never give up attitude pays dividends for him.
These sealed formats where you just get a ton of multicolor lands are so hilarious in sealed sometimes. My one and only ptq was a khans sealed event. Had a super sweet abzan deck with a wingmate roc and other stuff I can't recall. Looked at my land pool...legit not one land that had 2 abzan colors in it. Realized that this meant I could basically splash blue or red cards for free. Ended up splashing a Mardu Roughrider [yeah it seems silly I know] and Icy Blast. One of those 2 cards won me a game out of every match I played, Icy Blast singlehandedly pulling me a game out of the gutter I was definitley losing otherwise. 7-0-2 due to that splash. [the lost in the finals to the Mardu deck that cut my mardu deck badly in the draft...of course...sad days] I am expecting this blue splash to come up huge.
@@federivero1988 You're totally right. I actually thought he was referring to a different part of the video originally. But for the part where his Vigor got stolen: if he had tried to bounce his they would've sacrificed it to the warhorse.

I was legitimately going to skip past the match once I thought it got to the unwinnable stage but just goes to show what I know.
