Wow, thank you so much. I don't have supper nice tools, but i did have a thermal camera and I could see the short in the same exact spot. My phone is powering on now. So happy!
Great explanation. Hope you get a lot more business from this TH-cam channel by educating us as well. Thank you. Louis Rossman Proved sharing knowledge expands this business instead of hiding it. So thank you again. liked and subscribed. May I also suggest creating a full course on troubleshooting/Reading iPhone schematics. I would definitely buy something like that from you! Edit: If you do not offer any courses, do you know anybody else that offers that you can vouch for? I am trying to learn iPhone repairs as a beginner ( How to read schematics etc.)
Thank you! Appreciate your feedback! I do teach in a course. You can check out the links in the description We don't cover schematics per se, as it's hardly necessary for +90% of the repairs you see day to day Our course is more about teaching you how to be profitable with microsoldering and workflow practices
Hey Jesse, I got also the bootcable (other like X and stuff you have also the dock connector) but I have it with the mechanic boot box with a power button on the machine. Does that work or you always will need a power cable connected from iPhone 11 and higher?
If you're using the same thing I am, then you'll need to do it the same way i am doing it. If yours has a plug for the charging port, then it should allow you to prompt to boot with the iBoot box. just grab a board & test it
hello sr I'm from Indonesia I like your video, I want to buy a microscope like the one you use and the camera's thermal buffer. May I know what is the name?
Hey Buddy, My iPhone XR wont turn on, I sent to a refurbisher, they turned it on some how. I had taken this to AppleStore and also a repair shop, they couldn't fix it.
I have an 11pro and when I plug into pwr supply it immediatly draws 40-50ma before hitting power, when i prompt to boot it goes up to 150ish milliamps and then drops to 0. after repeating a few times it will draw 90-100ma and just say in that range going up and down.. anything come to mind? sorry for even asking I don't want to waste your time:) But any advice would be appreciated.

This is a great question for the group!

Thank you! Appreciate the support!
How could you tell precisely that the short was gonna be from the nand. Like it could be anywhere else. How could you figure it out
That's the purpose of this video, to show you how to find it
How much would something like this cost I think this is what’s wrong with my phone

Sorry, but I haven't understood why that capacitor was not in need of being replaced??
Because it's in parallel and doesn't affect the line
