GF!! I thought a Y9 was coming, and I'm happy we're going to get another year of content, but like you said, how good will it be? I'm not a big fan of the weapons and while the designs on them don't align, I like the color scheme tie-in you did with the Samurai. It really would be a missed opportunity if they don't do the Mongolian invasion of Japan for a few reasons. One being, I want a Nobushi skin! 😂 That's my Warrior's Den like humor for ya. Good video and I hope you get early access one day. You do great work on your videos. Cheers to Y9 and the new hero. She looks great! Take care! 🫡
6:23 i wish too that happened General but remember that it might be a controversial topic to Japanese people just like what happened to the Assassin Creed shadows.
Not necessarily. Speaking as a Japanese person. GOT did it well despite the historical inaccuracies because it had love in it. I don't know how AC Shadows will do but personally won't be playing it.
"Where did they find Appolyon's armor?" Dude, For Honor in filled with metaphorical images, this is one of them Astrea being chained and held under the blade is also metaphorical, it's not like this actually happened
@@luizfellipe3291 warrior's den recap on FH website, lore texts in game and the writers saying in the WD, "so that's what happened to astrea" face it dude, she is done
Please great prophet Fujikiyo predict a hussar next year so it happens 🙏 Edit: I think on the table in Y9 teaser are supposed to be game modes (dominion, brawl, duel and breach)
warmongers idolized Apollyon, so naturally they stole Apollyon's body with the help of black priors, which were a secret group working for Apollyon, Apollyon's body and armor both should be in horkos hq, the image means that the Guljin Khatun has completely conquered Horkos and warmongers
I wanted to add my take on the year 9 image, because I feel like there is a lot there we can find, the devs even urged us to find as many clues as possible. Get ready because there is a lot to talk about. First of all and most importantly, each side of the table is actually hostile to one another. Tiandi and Raider in the back are clearly beefing, holding their weapons over the table and shouting at eachother. The Kensei actually is unsheathing his sword if you look closely, so he is ready to swing as well. Afeera has her mace on the table and is pushing up the figurines on the table towards the other side, which the warden doesn't seem to be too happy about. The only calm person with her weapons away is the Khatun. Now why are these sides beefing eachother? Well, we can actually spot a neat detail, on one side you have the knights, samurai and wu-lin, each stem from cultures that popularly fought against the Mongol invasions. On the other however you have the vikings and Afeera, both of which have directly suffered from Horkos in the last years and couldn't be helped by Chimera. Ghuljin in her arrival manged to decimated a major horkos army and capture Astrea, for her unified peace through fear. All the heroes have their default sets except Kensei and Warden. Kensei has what I believe to be the Amakusa set from y4s4 the time at which Samurai Horkos collaboration was high according to orders from that season. Warden instead is wearing the chimera set. Both of these factions have reason to be against the Khatun, horkos obviously because of the battle and their objective of peace, but chimera would also be against them because of the type of 'peace' they are bringing. The Wu-lin may seem weird at first, but Zhi's whole driving motivator was that to bring the Wu-lin back on the faction war and be above the other factions, he also is willing to turn on any enemy or ally that would get in the way of that goal, so Ghuljin's peace and rule over Heathmoor would go against that, not to mention the Wu-lin and Mongols are in canon historical rivals. This essentially sets up the entire conflict for year 9, with vikings and some of the outlanders that were affected by Horkos joining the mongols, and on the other side you have the remnants of Horkos and Chimera, knights, samurai and Wu-lin. And they would be fighting on different theaters of war, like the Myre and Ashfeld borders against Valkenheim. So you have a mix of different old enemies ranging anywhere from good to evil fighting together against another side that is made up of a similar cast, essentially another morally grey conflict like in the older days of the lore. The four pieces on the board, to me, represent the different gamemodes on the faction war map. 1 sword = duels 2 swords = brawls/deathmatch 3 dots = dominion symbol castle = breach This could either mean some changes on the modes, or potentially the faction war, since the whole table would then represent the war map. As for the heroes in the background, I can only predict that we may end up with a male viking in the summer (9th viking hero like the other og factions, last viking hero was female locked) and the other is a female wu-lin hero (Wu-lin haven't gained a hero since y3 + if the viking hero prediction is correct it would match the tiandi vs raider bickering at the table). I know that is a lot of yapping, but genuinely with this season's top tier lore and villains + this pic, it would tidy up the last 2 years of meh lore and make those conflicts and allegiances relevant again and make the whole covenant story have a bit of follow through with this bigger final conflict involving all the factions and covenants.

I think the pieces on the table look more like the current available game modes. Dominion, brawls, duels and breach.
