nice video , does the consume more resources than streaming alone if yes do you know the %?

It does use a little more, percentage will depend on your processor, generation and cores. The big one is Disk access, I would use a separate hdd to the one you have your games loaded on.

make sure you are running a compatible version.

The problem with source record it that it can't record separate audio lines. It can record all the audio lines, just not separated which is an essential feature.
The only workaround is to have however many source record filters you need. They all record the gameplay but you select a different audio line for each one. It's a cancerous solution.

Would you be able to do this and keep camera in? I just want a clean copy and not have to worry about a follow ruining a clip or a video highlight.

I think you can group your sources and apply this "filter" to the whole group.
