Is it all over for Rishi Sunak and the Conservative Party?

  • The Conservatives' loss in Wellingborough was caused by the biggest by-election swing away from the party since 1994.
    Then came Tony Blair's famous 1997 landslide victory.
    So are we set for a repeat of history?

    The last 14 years of Tory rule has been the most damaging and incompetent political rule in modern British history. Every single metric points downwards, people can’t even heat their homes and our once “German” living standards is starting to resemble “Spanish” or “Italian” living standards… Not to mention the death of the NHS!
    Labour is a party I don’t particularly love either, but in comparison to the tories even a drunk homeless man would be a better choice for PM and parliamentary majority. So I will vote for anyone (with an actual chance of winning) but the tories this election.
    We do however need a new proportional electoral system where more than 2 or 3 parties are all that matters, and where every vote gets actual representation.

    • @jonharris1654
      @jonharris1654 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

    The Tories have increased the amount political parties can spend as this gives them an advantage.
    The Tories are gerrymandering by changing the way boundaries are set, because this favours them.
    Tories have take control of the BBC by planting their own into positions of power.
