    I actually prefer the adult coloring. That high contrast is really cool. Waiting patiently for mine to become a monster. Eats like a champ. Make sure it’s eating before you buy it.

    I would recommend at least an 800 gallon because a 180 is only double its size, so try living in a tank the size of your bed.

    Very informative video. IMO, these fish should NOT be collected for the trade as the vast majority of hobbyists will never have tanks big enough to keep these beautiful animals to full adult size. Most will suffer in captivity and end up euthanized at the very least. If people stop buying them, the industry would stop collecting them. We need to let the industry know it's unethical to offer them. Thank you for educating people. I'm in hopes once people know what that cute little juv fish is going to turn into, they'll avoid buying them.

      Or hear me out just don’t get one if you don’t have a big enough tank orrrrr just or get it n take it back and get store credit when it outgrows the tank

    20-24” average. Which still too big for most tanks…my experience tend to be real slow grower

    Only reef I’d put a sweetlips in is a predatory reef tank (reef in a huge tank with predatory fish aka lionfish ect..)
    Edit: or just have them in a reef tank with big fish like foxface, tangs ect..
