Nuisance algae is one of the biggest issue in our tank, knowing it can ruin the aesthetic of our tank. Many of us don't want algae to be in our fish tanks, as it grows significantly with our plants. Knowing and understanding about how to prevent algae outbreaks can help us a lot to deal with algae. Poor source of water has a big impact to the growth of algae in our aquarium. We can reduce the risk by having dry rock in our fish tank. Thank you so much for doing this video.

Can you put chaeto in your sump if you dont have a refugium or a light? I have something going on and cant figure it out. looks sort of like cyano but is only on the glass and new acrylic frag racks. the zoas on my frags rack are getting it on them too! Only on a few little area of rock. It dosnt responding to chemi clean nor bacterias that I hear can get rid of it like mb7 and dr tims and switching days with each! I have read somewhere that to much bacteria dosing can cause if, so maybe thats why. I think it came on some zoas frags that were sent on brand new plugs and within 5 days or so they were covered with it! The seller said it was because they were new! Not sure if she changed the plugs because she was trying to hide something! Hopefully one of these blenny will get rid of it!

Is the suspected cyano brown with bubbles? If it has bubbles it would be Dinos. Dinos are a nutrient and biodiversity issue
