- Comparing the 2 very different exhaust tones: Unequal Length (UEL) vs. Equal Length (EL) headers for the FRS/BRZ/86! Red FRS is running Tomei UEL, Megan cat-less resonated front pipe, and Greddy RS cat-back exhaust (Vortech Supercharged). Green FRS is running EL turbo manifold by Greddy, Tomei cat-less front pipe, and Tomei 80r cat-back.

Agreed. He should stick with his dream and not let others dictate what he drives. If he doesn't want the mustang anymore than that's fine, he should make the swap. my wife and I own a 2017 wrx and it's awesome to have a 4 door to pair with my boosted 2013 frs. either way he goes he makes a good decision.
I mean when you are a content creator your Followers kind of do dictate what you do without them he couldn’t do what he does so if the majority of people on his channel wanna see him build a wrx it would literally be a bad decision not to a lot of the people who have been into his frs are more apart of the tuner culture and would rather see him build more of them. For me I have zero interest in seeing cars like mustangs especially the new ones but in the end it’s gonna be up to him and what he thinks is best for his channel.

Trade the Mustang in for an STI, the value on them are really high on its own plus they come pretty much as a racing build even as stock. Fun to build up. I been watching you for years now Chris I had my FRS since 2019 & getting hks single exit exhaust installed right now. WRX is also a good back up build!
The turbo frs sound so good but yours just sounds more deeper so i like yours more!👍🔥

UEL headers sounds so good with that blow off valve, even if u didn’t have the valve it would still sound better then the green brz.
I’d go either hatchback WRX, or preferably, a 1990s RSTI. The two door RSTI’s are sweet rally cars, and almost as light as the FRS! Oh yes and they’re VERY quick, my buddy’s did 0-60 in just under 4.5 seconds. RSTI all the way brother!

If you do trade, part out the Mustang and get the STI. You’ll make power easier and still maintain the character of the car. 💯

You get better low-end torque with url, due to how the exhaust scavenging works. Also Subaru doesn't seem to have an issue with UEL, but blown head gaskets on their STi cars.

I think it would be cool to challenge yourself with a track build. You’ve done the form builds, maybe time to go function. There will be loads of things to work out, EG wider wheels and tires add weight, is a rear wing needed? Flat floor and diffuser maybe? It will be difficult but you’ll learn a lot. At the end of the day, you do you! What ever you do, I’m looking forward to it :)

UEL headers for me all the way. I ordered one for my Toyota Corona Premio lol. No UEL headers that I can find fit this car normally because of its obscurity so I have to do a bit of DIY. The one I got was made for Hondas but because it is for 4 cylinder engines, I got it.

Do you prefer the supercharger or turbo GT86 /BRZ? I currently have a BRZ and considering supercharger over turbo but want UEL headers I think it sounds so much better. I got a daily so it won’t be used everyday. If anyone has any advice it is greatly appreciated

Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan keep that S550 and get a WRX later. Also, if you and your homie's boost levels are the same, he would only make more power because turbo setups don't suffer from parasitic loss like superchargers do. Lastly, the UEL setup sounds better IMO. 👍🏿

hey everyone, I have a quick question. I bought ear sr01 18x9.5 35+ for my 2017 subaru brz, I'm on stock suspension for now. what size tires would you guys recommend? I went to Goodyear and asked for 245 40 18, and they told me they can't do it cause it won't fit. thanks!
