What will work at night when there is a light on inside at night? I have an entry window but I do not want people to be able to look in during the night when an inside light is on?
Ouf, I'm sorry but I couldn't get past the 1-minute mark... It's too bad because the info was pretty good, but the delivery was quite frankly insufferable. It made it seem like something being sold on Instagram or Wish rather than a professional product.
If I want to preserve the view of my bathroom window but do not want neighbors to be able to look in, which film should I get? I think it can work great during the day but how does it fair at night when we have to use light in the bathroom?
Corey, We do not necessarily recommend applying it to acrylic as it bubbles quickly. However, some of my clients have had success with it. Apply to clear glass for the best results. 😊
Why are likes and dislikes disabled? I almost clicked off immediately because of it. But, the video seems pretty legit. I'm sure this video would have a good ratio if we could see it.
Sorry if this is a dumb question, but does the mirror effect only work at certain angles and distances? I want to use this on my living room windows to provide privacy, since they are at basically eye level and accessible from the street, but I was wondering if this would also work on my sliding glass door so that people in the facing apartment building or below my balcony cannot look in. Thanks!
Its ok to ask what you think is a dumb question but its actually a real question to ask. Rather than explaining to my parents that it is installed backwards. I feel like im being interrogated and im pissed because they wont believe me.
What could I buy that would be full protection both way and use for a mirror both ways during day and at night for sliding doors no need for seeing threw either way just want to use for mirrors is there such a thing available. Love your video very informative
ive never heard anyone say they were a mirror geek... LOL but i can see why you would call yourself that... lol i never knew there were this many options of film.
Hi! I'm wondering if i can apply it to my wall and use it like a mirror, coz i can't find an adhesive mirror in a larger size its always cut into small sizes. So i'm thinking if privacy mirror film will work.
I bought one way vinyl...And I can both ways...So expensive and a big 0 privacy...I want to put this on the back windows of my car for total pivacy but that I can see out anytime day of night or night. Which on do I buy ?? You presented the company very well but just need a second opinion.. Thank you so very much.
Yes, it will work great for seeing out the back window. It would be the very highest level of privacy for that application: www.twowaymirrors.com/one-way-mirror-film/ Standard films are typically 3x more transparent. Hope that helps!
This is one of the best videos I’ve seen in a minute. Your positive attitude is so uplifting. I came here looking for something and found something else.
I am confused. I want to see outside all the time day and night, and I don't want them to see me at night when lights in on. How can be resolved, without putting light outside in my window
@@ToddTinley I know. It needs light outside at night aiming the window to get the result. I guess I have to use the old fashion blind cordless, and tilt downward, and they can't see me. and I still can see outside. But I don't know how to hang the blind that I just bought and I bought the machine driller. I have to learn how to use the expensive machine driller.
Works great if it's curved and not spherical. A dome would be very tricky, but we do sell two way domes with the coating already applied: www.twowaymirrors.com/two-way-mirror-dome/
Jessica if you upload a vid just showing people all the modern televisions with cameras built into them, behind the screens, basically spying on the tv watchers.. it would Reaaaallly motivate people to buy your privacy films
Great point and idea!!! Wouldn’t the film work on the tv screen just like privacy on a window? You in the house can see the tv screen but they see more of a mirror reflection from inside the tv with the built in camera(s)? Same with a phone/tablet/computer, etc.?
I'm going to watch this presentation, but the exaggerated voice inflections make it very difficult to listen to. Suggestion to the narrator: Just speak as though you were talking to the cashier at your local store....calm and relaxed. You're viewers are here for the information. Now, let me see if I can make it through this presentation. Nope. Couldn't do it.
I'm sorry but she is trying too hard and is wa to happy like a paranoid skitzo but it's pretty informative
I'm glad you enjoyed the information!
Agreed. Informative. But must one be so perky when referencing “in case of a school shooting”.
What will work at night when there is a light on inside at night? I have an entry window but I do not want people to be able to look in during the night when an inside light is on?
Right!idk man I’m still looking but, you can legit see threw this one when she picks it up an cause of the light in the room so I think it’s crap💯.💀
Many people place a light outside as well to cancel the light inside. The light outside should be brighter.
"In case of a school shooting" * giant over enthusiastic smile
Sorry about that!!!
Holy crap that was so annoying... hard to get through but had such helpful information
Thank you for the feedback! We will work on it! :)
You did a really good job, Jessica.

@@twowaymirrors she acts like someone who works in the adult-film industry. Super annoying.
Your video is cool. You got some haters girl ❤
With all my research I have yet to find an answer to how dark does it make the inside of your house looking out in the daytime - I put in a lot of windows in a new house I don’t want it to look dark inside I just want passerby‘s to not be able to look in during the day with curtains fully open - what do you buy I can’t even find the website to this video©️❓❓❓
It does make it pretty dark inside--just like looking through sunglasses.
So many hands
It's kind of my thing 🤷♀️😊
So few noses to pick
Im no expert at these but GOD damn why wont my parent believe me our glass panel is installed backwards?
😂
@@twowaymirrors yes until now its still backwards. My neighbor enjoys the privacy 😂

Can my plants still get sun light if I used mirror tint
Nope! You'll want to supplement it with indoor lighting.

Can you use dichroic colored film over this film to bring more color to an intense privacy film?
I recommend trying out a sample to see if it stacks well. We don't typically recommend applying two films on top of each other.
If I want to preserve the view of my bathroom window but do not want neighbors to be able to look in, which film should I get? I think it can work great during the day but how does it fair at night when we have to use light in the bathroom?
The one way film will work best! Putting a light on the outside will help create the glare at nighttime.
8:06 Wrong!? It's the opposite, you have to dim the light on the *observer's* side and brighten it on the *observee's* side.
Exactly, just like you said, you have to illuminate the suspect and dim the observer's side
I'm interested in making my own mirror. Would you be able to apply this film to something like plexiglass or other materials?
Corey,
We do not necessarily recommend applying it to acrylic as it bubbles quickly. However, some of my clients have had success with it. Apply to clear glass for the best results. 😊

How will these affect on plants
As the film blocks most of the sunlight, you'll want to add lighting inside for the plants

Putting a light outside your window is the best way, but there are other options!
Could you apply add modifications to the color without complete taking the vision of it?
Typically our clients just install 1 layer of film, I'm not sure how multiple layers would work if you wanted to add a specific color to it.
So does this mean the house is more dark?
The film has a tint to it, so it does make the room a little darker. Just like a tinted car window.
can the film be removed?
Yes, it's semi-permanent and can be removed with water.
