Aaron judge is now in the same boat as LeBron was after his team lost the finals to Dallas. What you do in the regular season means nothing you have to do it in the playoffs
I'd love to agree with you but Aaron Judge is more like James Harden. A complete no show every postseason who is the top 3 every season. Aaron Judge is officially the worst player of all time in the Postseason. Just like James Harden who is usually 2 - 12 FG in elimination games. But yes LeBron James is also a choke artist.
@@LazyCrazyGuy Hardens a good choice but I chose LeBron just because judge was being called the greatest hitter of our generation and for him to choke the way he has it reminded me of LeBron in that series against Dallas
@@RetroPixelDrew64 I mean technically he could be the best hitter but he wouldn't be considered the best player of our generation or even potentially the best player of all time. Which is what the ignorant NBA media has labeled LeBron since back then. The greatest player of all time and of this generation. James Harden was labeled as the best scorer of our generation and that's why I think they match up better. Either way Judge and Harden will be forgotten about in 25 years. Shohei and sadly LeBron won't be. But you know who's name will last longer through the ages? Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson and Kobe Bean Bryant.

Mickey mouse bubble ring with Howard, Rondo, Anthony Davis and Danny Green. It would be a shame to lose with all that help every time. There's a reason he's got a 4 - 6 Finals result. Kobe took 1 all star who gave him 15 points and 15 rebounds per game. Went to 3 straight Finals in the deep West and took out a loaded 2010 Boston team holding 3 top 75 players and 2 HOF. He won with just that, can you truly imagine LeBron winning with just one 15 points per game player? Because he can't do it with AD averaging 30 points. First round exits all the time.
Dodgers had their most difficult series in round 1 with the Padres they got them on the brink of elimination LA responds with a godly bullpen game then again with Yamamoto. Next victim is the Mets that lacked plays that demoralize a team. Now the Yankee's had the easiest path to a World Series and it shows. Robert's know what it takes to get it done. Dodgers are beyond starved for a championship at any moment in their lineup a clutch hitter is waiting and ready.
Freddie had such a bad ankle injury that he hobbled with every step and had to eventually sit out 2 games. And yet with that injury, he could still run twice as fast as Stanton.
Idk what was more embarrassing Fat Joe’s performance to reply to LA’s Ice Cube one or the fact that even when they got those two runs in the 9th the rest of the team could hardly get pumped up
Same here. I said in a group chat I was in while watching the game that the Yankees would NOT fuck around on their home turf, as Yankee stadium is where they're at their best.... well uh, guess that blew up in my face in the best possible way

Dodgers fan here. I feel your pain. Outside of 2020, I've spent the last ten years watching All-Star after All-Star disappear at the plate in the playoffs. Dodgers fans also got the bonus of the best pitcher of his generation (Kershaw, 4.49 playoff era) turning painfully average every postseason. My advice is to enjoy the regular season, keep putting pressure on the Orioles and hope your boys are hot through the playoffs.
That was definitely ball, and the home ump did call several balls strikes, but let’s talk about the review crew, not changing the out call, to safe at home plate. Was it really that tough to see the foot touch home plate before the tag, because I clearly saw it. Not to mention the home ump should have called interference on the catcher for blocking home plate. This isn’t the Buster Posey days.
Ok there was a passage left by the catcher for the runner on the outside and video reply would of shown that to the umpires ,secondly there is zero and I mean zero footage of runner touching home plate before being tagged so your clearly call is void .Third and bit least it was his hand sliding into home plate not his foot so yeah it is what it is
@ My bad,I forgot he slide in with his hands. I looked at it again, and you’re right the catcher did give him a slight lane, but his hand was still in first before the tag. I saw before on almost the last camera angle, where they showed his hand touch home plate. It’s obvious his hand beat the tag, but again one camera angle showed he touched home plate. You probably didn’t watch all the camera angles. They showed several different camera angles, and only one you could see him actually touch home with his hand down, which was the question. Okay I watched it yet again, and Tom Glavine said he’s safe and so do I. However because of the dirt kicked up, you can never actually see his Lux’s hand clearly, so now I understand why they didn’t overturn the call. Anyway, it’s a done deal.
@@violetnevermore5457 it's because they treat it like its their birthright to win it. Their stupid ass Dynasty. Maybe instead they should consider it something important you have to make a massive effort to pull off. They walk around like it's theirs for the taking every year.
aaah..... actually........ I was an umpire for 23 years it is very difficult to criticize umpiring, but I was saying out loud during game three of the World Series, "Does this home plate umpire have money on the game!!?!" I thought the plate umpiring for games one and two was OUTSTANDING, considering the breakes and movement on the ball and the changing of speeds! OUTSTANDING!! but in game three, as a Yankee fan, "We was robbed."
Plate umpires calls have been way off at best, and nearly incompetent since the post-season began. The strike zone is like 'ahh, close enough lets get this over with'. VeriOdd.
Why is everyone so down on the Yankees? They went into extra innings in Game 1 with a lead. They were a single away from tying the game in the 9th in Game 2. They only lost by 2 runs in Game 3 and if Stanton hadn't have tried to make it home and the bad strike call in the 7th....who knows. These games have been close. I'm a Dodgers fan but this narrative the Dodgers are wiping the floor with the Yankees is not true.
My 9th grade bball. Coach could have coached better than the Yankees coaches. Umpires were terrible I honestly turned it off. The 3rd base coach shouldn’t even be coaching women’s softball my god how easy was that play to NOT send him

Who? I don’t know a single Yankees fan who actually cheered him being injured, in fact I know hundreds of Yankees fans(myself included) in person and tens of thousands of them online and all of them were talking about how it sucked that he was out
I'm Ohtani fan and to be fair with Judge, the Dodger's japanese superstar isn't having a stellar post season as well. It is clear from the start that Dodger's roster is superior and any player can step up such as Freeman, Edman, Hernandez, Yamamoto, Buehler.
Agreed, Ohtani has been mid tbh BUT atleast he still useful in other way like getting RBI and scoring Run on the other hand Judge are just CONE MAN because he can't hit shit and collecting strikeouts like theres no tommorow thats the huge different between both of em.
Gleyber mishandling the throw in from the outfield led directly to LA tying late in Game 1. That was the turning point. I won't miss him even though he'll probably light it up on another team. They can see if Peraza is anything or perhaps move Chisholm to 2nd and get a real third baseman.
This is what it felt like for Dodgers fans after game 4 of the 2018 WS. The Red Sox could get the hits when it mattered and it just felt like the Dodgers were outclassed. We barely scraped by a game 3 victory in an exhausting 18 inning marathon.
The clip of Stanton rounding 3rd starting at 2:10 is from game 3 Monday night, then at 2:30 a clip is shown from an obvious day game on another day against a different team, why?
Yup I said the Dodgers vs Padres was the real world series, that was an exciting set of games that could have gone either way but my Dodgers had enough quality to get through despite some average pitching at times. This looked like it could live upto the hype when game 1 went to overtime but since then the Yankees have shown they are not committed to winning, Torres lazy play is the standout but he isn't the only one that looks like they are indifferent to winning - seems as though they got all their bonuses earned for getting to the show, or they really just dont care enough.
Considering Stanton’s speed, TeOscar’s arm and how quickly he picked up the ball, I understand calling it a crazy send. But it took a great throw all the same, and imo the Yanks needed to try something to spark things. I think it was a good gutsy call. NY looks lost though
Things started pretty good with Derek Jeter being announced by LEGENDARY Yankee PA voice Bob Sheppard as he came out to toss the ceremonial first pitch. After that with the walk to Ohtani and the home run by Freddie. Sorry to be blunt but, it appears that the curse of July 13, 2010 [The day George Steinbrenner died] is still haunting the Yankees.
Like I said, Yankees finally playing a real team in playoffs and got exposed. Mets had to go thru Braves, Brewers, Phillies, and took 2 against Dodgers. Yankees played the Royals and Tigers 😂
what are you talking about? it will only take another 15 years until the Yankees win the World Series! So that's a good thing! (although the Padres and Mariners will probably win the World Series before that)
The difference is that while Ohtani and Muncy are slumping the rest of the team,Freeman, Edmon, Will Smith, Keke, Teoscar all rose to the occasion. Can’t be said for the Yankees.
I grew up 10 min stroll from Yankee Stadium BUT I'm a Met fan so I'm not feeling too bad right now about the Yankees...Mets put up a fight that we do not see coming from Yankees yet.
I knew the teams in the American League weren’t strong this year (except for maybe Cleveland) and I thought the Yankees would at least be a challenge but like I said 1.5 weeks ago I think the series against Cleveland was their World Series Dodgers re just too strong, what would cap it off is if the Dodgers put up 10 or more runs today and have the game won by the 5th inning
30 teams in the MLB and the Yankee's made it to the World Series, they have nothing to be ashamed of. The Dodgers are a juggernaut, not sure anyone could beat them right now.
I was caught up with my Cavs beating the Knicks and forgot to check in on the World Series. Flipped over and the Yankees were already down 2-0 in the first lmao. Heads are gonna roll when LA completes the sweep. Bad coaching decisions and poor fundamentals are big reason why NY is on the brink. I think Boone's pink slip is already written up.

1 team showed up
🤷♂️
Doger fan, completely agree. I wanted to win the w.s. but this is not how I envisioned it at all. Thank God we got to have a lot of fun on game 1 being an exciting tit for tat style nail biter. The series became more and more.boring with each game.. but I guess the main thing is that the Dodgers have out performed the Yankees thus far. Just wish NYY fought harder.
The AL teams sucked this season. The Mets and Padres would have been just as good in the series.
Im rooting for the Dodgers but i agree, except game 1 this series turn to be pathetic make me wonder how tf did yankees make it to the WS
when fat joe starts it out because half of the ny rappers are in "hiding"...you know the series is toast.
😂😂😂😂
They lost when they had Fat Joe go against Ice Cube.
Stanton and the Yankees are deperate....Stanton force to run even though he is slow runner hahaha
That was brutal
My kids run faster than him!
The thing is why he didn't stop at third when he or his third base coach knew he couldn't run very fast with 2 outs. If he'd stayed at third, it would have been 2 on, 2 out and a tying run at the plate.
@@อัครัตน์จารุมณี yeah, everybody saw what was going to happen (except the announcers and the Yank 3rd base coach)
This video was the first time seeing the actual play, as I listened to the radio broadcast.. that was horrendous! How on earth do you send him there??? Total screwup by the third base coach.
For the Yankees fans who shit on the Mets for losing in 6 to the dodgers ….. I forgive u.
Stanton's running reminds me of the former Yankees announce Bill White who used to say, "He looks like he's running uphill."
I knew shohei wasnt going to swing he was gonna keep taking walk off bases
honestly, he's fast enough that he could probably line up a bunt and have a good chance of getting on base
@@timothyhill6879 well, but a big part of running is upper body movement, which means that not only will he have a hard time running quicker, but it will also be more damaging to his shoulder.
Well at he made up and managed to get 4. Judge can't buy a hit rn, it's pathetic
@@4tfbenjiglo63 you mean he was given the easy track to 4.
2 All Stars plus multiple first ballot HoF in each championship as his help. Ray Allen saved him in 2013 and Kyrie brought back the Cavs back to life with that 3 pointer plus Donkey got himself suspended. You could say he had a mole working for him in 2016.
Umpires have been making bad calls for both sides.
Nah, it was the yankees that got fucked by the ump
The Yankees have gone full fledge Phillies
Some Mets fan out there's loving this comment.
Phillies fan, and I had the same thought just now 😂
If the Phil’s got swept I guess….or lost 3 in a row in any ps series
Dodgers had their most difficult series in round 1 with the Padres they got them on the brink of elimination LA responds with a godly bullpen game then again with Yamamoto. Next victim is the Mets that lacked plays that demoralize a team. Now the Yankee's had the easiest path to a World Series and it shows. Robert's know what it takes to get it done. Dodgers are beyond starved for a championship at any moment in their lineup a clutch hitter is waiting and ready.
My fustration began earlier, with that trash performance by Fat Joe.
Freddie had such a bad ankle injury that he hobbled with every step and had to eventually sit out 2 games. And yet with that injury, he could still run twice as fast as Stanton.
Idk what was more embarrassing Fat Joe’s performance to reply to LA’s Ice Cube one or the fact that even when they got those two runs in the 9th the rest of the team could hardly get pumped up
Half the crowd were gone so it would have been like a funeral.
It's over. They've given up in spirit. Next game is really just a ceremony to crown the champs.
@@ClarkKent71 it was a funeral after Freddie got that home run
@@BourneIdentity45 I think it was game2 that was the nail...NY had their storybook moment too...but broke.

As a Dodger fan I was shocked at the Yankees lost. Actually expected them to win this Yankees home game. But happy the Dodgers are now 3-0.
Same here. I said in a group chat I was in while watching the game that the Yankees would NOT fuck around on their home turf, as Yankee stadium is where they're at their best.... well uh, guess that blew up in my face in the best possible way
Stanton doing the slowed down version of the moonwalk🕺 rounding 3rd??..
bullocks, that was awful,is he always like that?.. .
anyway you slice it....
Dodger 🧢 Blue in 4 🧹...

Stanton can't run full speed if he did his hamstrings would be laying out on the base paths.
A hit by pitch at the end also
That was definitely ball, and the home ump did call several balls strikes, but let’s talk about the review crew, not changing the out call, to safe at home plate.
Anyway, it’s a done deal.
any other team could have been more competitive in the series, even the white sox lol
🤣
Haha like the old saying goes ....NOPE
I’m reminded of the ‘76 World Series when the Big Red Machine just dominated the Yankees. You could hear a pin drop in Yankee Stadium it got so quiet.
And that's why they went out and got Reggie Jackson.
Not In the matter of days, in a matter of hours. this series is over. What pathetic excuse for a Yankees team.
You’re dumb if you expected anything else. Ever since 2009, the Yankees have been cursed to never perform well in the playoffs

I'm 68 and can still keep up with him
Plate umpires calls have been way off at best, and nearly incompetent since the post-season began. The strike zone is like 'ahh, close enough lets get this over with'. VeriOdd.
The Dodgers are doing to the Yankees what the Yankees did to the Indians and Royals.
I was laughing watching Stanton running home 😂😂😂 like wth are you doing
Can’t stop Soto to leave yankees
dude messed up my parlay
I wanted Soto to stay, but honestly if he wants to win a WS, he better leave... Specially if Boone stays

You don't go into extra innings if you have a lead.
@@akitas8165 OK, the bottom of the extra inning. Happy?
If you consistently stop the other team in close games, you are taking away any possible momentum builder.

I HATE the Dodgers.. but the Dodgers are wiping the floor with the Yankees. You have to accept that.
My 9th grade bball. Coach could have coached better than the Yankees coaches. Umpires were terrible I honestly turned it off. The 3rd base coach shouldn’t even be coaching women’s softball my god how easy was that play to NOT send him
Glayber is a lazy joke. No team will ever win with him on their team.

@danielclark241 Failure take. Cheering and applauding a player getting injured is not in any way comparable, and is utterly low class behavior.
@@Johnfisher12345 Don't be quick to act so righteous. It's called "karma", friend. Of course, it’s coming from a Rebel scum. Your parents are obviously siblings.
I'm Ohtani fan and to be fair with Judge, the Dodger's japanese superstar isn't having a stellar post season as well. It is clear from the start that Dodger's roster is superior and any player can step up such as Freeman, Edman, Hernandez, Yamamoto, Buehler.
Even with Ohtani's injury, the rest of the team stepped up. That is a different mindset and worth acknowledging!
Agreed, Ohtani has been mid tbh BUT atleast he still useful in other way like getting RBI and scoring Run on the other hand Judge are just CONE MAN because he can't hit shit and collecting strikeouts like theres no tommorow thats the huge different between both of em.
2:04 thought I blinked too hard😵💫
Gleyber mishandling the throw in from the outfield led directly to LA tying late in Game 1. That was the turning point. I won't miss him even though he'll probably light it up on another team. They can see if Peraza is anything or perhaps move Chisholm to 2nd and get a real third baseman.
The rally caps looked so silly.
Is this the Yankees?...seriously?

This is what it felt like for Dodgers fans after game 4 of the 2018 WS. The Red Sox could get the hits when it mattered and it just felt like the Dodgers were outclassed. We barely scraped by a game 3 victory in an exhausting 18 inning marathon.

Yankees haven't seen every Dodger pitch, we have a few relievers that haven't pitched yet this series
Sorry to be blunt but, it appears that the curse of July 13, 2010 [The day George Steinbrenner died] is still haunting the Yankees.

what are you talking about? it will only take another 15 years until the Yankees win the World Series! So that's a good thing! (although the Padres and Mariners will probably win the World Series before that)
It was BEAUTIFUL!!!!
The difference is that while Ohtani and Muncy are slumping the rest of the team,Freeman, Edmon, Will Smith, Keke, Teoscar all rose to the occasion. Can’t be said for the Yankees.
But, but, but, but i thought judge is way better than otahni? Thought majority of the people will take him over otahni? Lol
I grew up 10 min stroll from Yankee Stadium BUT I'm a Met fan so I'm not feeling too bad right now about the Yankees...Mets put up a fight that we do not see coming from Yankees yet.
I knew the teams in the American League weren’t strong this year (except for maybe Cleveland) and I thought the Yankees would at least be a challenge but like I said 1.5 weeks ago I think the series against Cleveland was their World Series
Dodgers re just too strong, what would cap it off is if the Dodgers put up 10 or more runs today and have the game won by the 5th inning
Yankees making every NL team look like a juggernaut and as a Mets fan I love it 😂
30 teams in the MLB and the Yankee's made it to the World Series, they have nothing to be ashamed of.
Not only that, none of the Yankees can make tee times yet. Must really be frustrating.
