@@Benji.Danecker yeh of course, I have a f87 as of right now. I cannot imagine not having dct. I’m in manual mode 99% of the time. The raw upshifts and downshifts feel is too good. I always thought about 911s, they weigh a lot less as well. But my only issue is, it doesn’t look attractive to me.. it has that “pretty” look to it vs bmw looks aggressive as fuck. Happy for you though. Pdk is no joke.
The F87 is great I like it a lot. You'd definitely miss the dct haha I think you have to dig into the aftermarket with 911 to make them look mean. Most owners are old and don't care to do anything to them. Can't wait though for it to arrive
DCT for me, if you're going to drive a Sport Car this is the obvious choice, yes it's jerky, it's clanky but also incredibly much faster between gear shifts, how a performance car should behave.
Exactly. ZF seems like the best choice for the performance NON-M cars like 340i, m235i etc... But when u are goin to the aggresive M car you want the whole experience. Also regarding the manual option, although is great, right now with the power numbers you get from a stock car I think its not a good fit anymore...

They could have made a great DCT but they cheaped out, got lazy & just went with the ZF which is in like every basic BMW lol look at Porsche they make the best Dual Clutch trans and its just stupid good
Nope manuals overated, its stupid to use your feet to drive fast, those are for old times sake, if you want manuals then it stay as a classic, and if you are boring buy a torque converter! If you want to drive really fast and raw then only DCT BABY!!!

Most owners are purist and appreciate that the designers got it right the first time. There fixed it for you.

DCT is garbage off the line that’s why f80s ain’t touching 7s… I’ll take the zf8 for drag racing and daily and the DCT for “fun” 💀
