At all ucat test centres you get given 1 laminated sheet and that doesn't change I think you can ask for another sheet I'm not sure as I'm sitting first time this year and the marker is usually permanent/semi-permanent --- also make sure the pen works before the exam starts
my one was like a mini notebook with a few laminated sheets, but yeah the marker was too annoying to rub off during the exam so I didn't bother with that
hi!! jus wanted to come back to this video and thank u for making this it was helpful calming my nerves for my ucat which I had on Friday. I ended up getting 2780 Band2 and I’m just trying to figure out what unis to apply to strategically which I’m just quite unsure about at the moment
@@sue9302 definitely. I started light revision on the 3rd (UCAT practice test B = 2030 band 3) then since the 7th, I've been using medentry to revise, like 4-8 hours per day (although rn I'm lowering down those hours to roughly 3 daily). my 'diagnostic' exam was 2440 band 2, and now, almost 2 weeks later, i've been averaging about 2750 band 1. I think you can achieve 2700, I believe in you :)
I have my exam in 12 days and I am cram practising now because I have been scoring in band 4 for mocks any tips on what you did a week before your exam?
honestly i just did lots of mock practice, otherwise just work on the sections you are weakest at as you’re likely to have the biggest marginal benefit towards your score working on those
medify was v similar to the real thing tbh, QR was okay i think there was probably one or two long stems but i remember being able to answer all of the qs so it seemed doable
@@EeshaanGhanekar that’s an excellent score. For QR where there questions related to do with finding the surface area of a shape? Or were QR questions basic arithmetic. Also we’re the AR pattern difficult to figure out or we’re they straightforward.
Thank you so much for this! I'm going to be doing my UCAT test in just 2 days, so this was reassuring
i just saw this but i hope it went well!
How did it go ?
How did you do? What are you doing now?
if youre applying as an undegrad, you are definitely getting an interview, you absolutely smashed it!! well done!!! good luck on your interviews
haha thank you very much, i've already done my interviews now its just fingers crossed for results day!!

How similar was the actual exam compared to medify? And were there a lot of long QR questions?

Nice video! If you dont mind how did u do in you mocks?
thanks :) i was on 3 A* in my mocks but who knows what's gonna happen with my actual exams... just praying I make my offer
Hi, do you think it's better to spend 3 hours on one section e.g DM rather than trying to squeeze TWO areas a day and do 1:30 minutes for each ?
two sections a day **
What was your total score
how was QR? u didnt metion about this!
QR was my best section, it went fine but still a little time pressured
Yoo Eeshan, wassup bro, I was wondering what BMAT resources you used if you did do BMAT??
Sorry bro I just saw this- used Medify and the past papers but I assume your BMAT’s done now😭😭
Sorry to ask but what did u get in VR since you found it hard ?
630
@@EeshaanGhanekar not bad at all
Well done, that's amazing!! Could I ask how many questions you did per day approximately and how many weeks you used to prepare?
no idea how many qs per day but i probably attempted around 8k qs over an 8 week period? excluding mocks
was the pen erasable or was it a marker
technically erasable but erasing was a lot of effort and left some marks so I didn't bother
what do you guys mean by stems loll is it the one question with different parts to it ?
yeah like if you have a passage in VR and then 4 qs on that “stem”
YO PLEASE MAKE MORE VIDS I BEG YOU!!!
OKAY I'LL TRYYY
