How is the Transformers roleplaying game i love DnD and have played Rifts and Marvel rpg and Made with my brother a Resident evil Rpg just picked up the old TMNT table top rpg.
The dice system is great, the form options are mediocre, the class system is quite nice (I like it better than D&D), the weapons table is overdone. What I miss most is something to make player characters unique. The OG Transformers generally had a unique 'thing' each, like forcefields, invisibility, holograms or teleportation. I wish the "Feats" would cater more to that.
@@martl8615 That was Mods an Outliers powers they should add them im a big fan of the transformers. Thank so much hun i love D&D have not play the new edition 2nd and 3rd editions are what I play.
Are you trying to figure out the appropriate threat level of your group of PC's combiner team, or make a custom Combiner (Like a Gestalt) enemy, and trying to craft the threat appropriate to your party?
@@NVNGPodcast when making new threats in the game I can't find anything about the determining the level I even wrote out the threat levels of all the statblocks from the book each combiner team the numbers don't seem to make sense when I think I found a method for one team it doesn't work for the next
So, as far as I've found, there is no 'rule' or equation that says these X threats combine into Y Gestalt mode. Most of what I see, is find a threat level you want, and design that way (even using one already made, and modify what you need to make it yours if you want to maintain the balance of the game.). I.E. Take a look at the Stunticons that make up Menasor. Wildrider and Dead End are 6's, Drag Strip is a 7, Breakdown is a 10, and Motormaster (the leader) is 15, and Menasor (the combined mode) is 17. It builds up until they have to fight Menasor. Remember, the combiners are not always together.
Cool. I'll try to make a good NPC with this knowledge. I dad still have the og devastator and predaking figures
I’m so jealous, still waiting for my copy to get delivered TT^TT (distribution problems)
Hope you get your copy soon!

Has anyone figured out the math for determining the threat levels of combined forms the numbers don't seem to make sense to me
