I had one of these in the mid-nineties. Maybe it was the late 90's. I bought it cheap, fixed it up and rode it around for a while before my girlfriend's sister claimed it. Never saw it again after that. but what a fun bike.
Man i'm chocked, i've just find the same bike for a low price on marketplace today. Fearching for info i came across your videos and it's insane. Big inspiration for sure! thank you for this great build. Enjoy the gravel race :)
I’m starting a similar build myself. I found a 1999 cannondale CAD4 F1000 disc large on eBay for around $110. I’m planning on fitting 650b x47mm tubeless tires since I’ve heard they will fit. Gonna put a sram 12 speed eagle groupset and hydro disc brakes. Haven’t chosen a wheelset 100% yet but leaning towards the stans no tubes crest s2 135mm. Torn if I should find a headshock or just a normal 120mm suspension fork or even a rigid fork. Amazing build I wish I found that color

Such a nice build! Well done.
@@loothi thanks! It’s a really fun bike to ride around! Thanks for watching

Nice stuff! I found a few headshok forks on pinkbike. Maybe you’ll be lucky and find one that works!
Could you tell us about the stem? What made is ist and what are the measurements?
Man love the build! Can you kindly give us the spec of the cassette? How did you adapt the old rear wheel?
It’s a complete new groupset. I am using a 11-46 slx cassette with a deore 11 speed derailleur. Thanks for watching!

The cassette looked filthy before he even put it on the bike
Yes, it was a used cassette.
