I got a 31” V3 in ambush green as well. 100% agree with you on all points. It’s incredible and blows my mind the innovation that went into this bow. Great video!
What Size Quiver do you have, 4 /6 ? What kind if Release do you Use ? What Size Stabilizer ? Sights, What is that? ...lol... Thanks for your Guidance....
@@upchurchm I have the 4 arrow quiver for whitetail hunting. As far as a release, I use a truball HBC hinge and a 12 inch stabilizer (need to weigh it)
Od question but how tall are you? I'm 5' 11" and trying to decide between the 31 and 27 for my hunting bow. Will be in a stand and possibly a saddle this next season
Did you decide yet? I am 6’2 and I think I am going with the 31. I saddle and tree stand hunt as well as travel west to elk hunt. I currently have the heli m and the axle to axle is similar.
@@josephsir820 it doesn’t. I just got back from the archery shop where we tried to mount one up. It misses the mark by a quarter inch. Good news is my vertix is still an awesome bow and I don’t need a new one yet. Shot them back to back and if anything, the V3 has just a touch smoother vibration than the vertix. Hardly noticeable though.
@@josephsir820 No problem! I shot both through the chronograph also. They were identical considering different rests. The v3 was actually 3fps less but it had a whisker bisket, which slows it a touch. Both bows rock. Thanks for your review!
Boys and girls notice that he has 4 fletched arrows... it's the only way the bow will tune... if you shoot three Fletch rotate the top Fletch towards the bow otherwise the inside lower right Fletch will hit the new cable guard system... I fought tuning this bow for a day finally did a powder tune and that was my problem...bullet holes after that
@@josephsir820 one more time if you shoot a three Fletch Arrow..(w/2 in Fane Tec). with top fletch straight up the right lower Fletch will hit the new roller guard system...(13/16s off the Berger button) Guaranteed... all you have to do is look down the right side of the arrow to figure it out it's a no-brainer.
I have been paid to shoot content and edit as that is what I do for a career. Getting my hands on the bow to shoot content has been awesome and obviously necessary in the content creation process. I was in now way compensated for doing this. I simply wanted to make it on my own time so people had a real world review from someone who had really gotten a chance to test it. And like I said at the beginning, I am a little bias...I do love my Mathews!
How the hell do you only have 465 subscribers? Your stuff is premium!!!
Hahaha thanks for your support. Just started posting so maybe it will grow (or very few share your opinion:)

Thanks! We will!
Could you please let me know the model number of the sight you used on this V3, I would like to get one. Thx
Going to by the V3 tomorrow. Going to be my first bow!
Right behind you. My first bow also.
Just got mine yesterday. It is sweet.
@@joblo1978 color?...
Joe, what bow case was that you featured?! Gonna have to buy one for sure!
The soft side case is made by elevation. It’s the “v1 topo bow case”. Love it!
@@josephsir820 awesome! Thank you for the reply! Love your content! Keep up the good work!
Thanks for the review. What Axcel sight are you using on this bow?
3 pin axcel acustat
Shot one today. 31. Camo $1249. Will hunt elk this fall CO. What lbs and draw length is your rig? Thx Peace too.
I’m at 70# and 30.5 draw
🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼 epic footage
Would this be a very good bow for youth? I have a summertime job with my dad and I’m considering getting it next year if I have enough money.
If you can pull it back absolutely. Might even be worth trying out the 27 depending on your size and draw length!
If it’s to much, Mathews also makes the stoke which is a youth bow

I’d be very curious to know if my vapor trail drop away gen 7 will fit on there with the new design?
I’m sure it will!

@Rusty Shackleford the guy at the archery shop said he saw a hamskae set up on one. I think that one would fit.
I completely agree if your not shooting a Mathews your not shooting a bow 😂😂
Curious what u think of 27"i think string angle is going to be harsh
I havnt shot it but from what I’ve heard from the people who have had it in the field it sounds awesome!
Joe man your awesome, but unfortunately I can not afford a Matthews heard good things! Maybe some day!
Worth saving for! Another nice thing about them is they do retain their resale value so it makes upgrading a hair more doable!
Is it worth selling my VXR to buy? Thanks for the review.
That’s tough for me to say man. That’s a personal call. The VXR is a great bow, I would go and shoot the V3 and see for yourself what makes sense!
Thank you I gotta get me one!
Am due !! I shoot a z7 magnum right now! It will be my birthday present to myself! 😆
Absolutely!
I got the halon 32, I'm very excited to go shoot the v3
