It will depend on how three factor, 1- how they solve such complex caste equation in seat sharing, 2-who hard they are willing to outmatch indi alliance manifesto who will again promise heaven and moon, 3- how they control narrative especially in social media, this is where rss can help them

On Odisha, while I understand DK's argument that it is difficult to read non-wave elections, the same reporters, commentators and pundits do speak with high levels of confidence before the elections. Perhaps, this kind of disclaimer should be displayed and declared more prominently while making the predictions

I agree with DK...TDP will piggy ride for next couple of years. Of course by then wont be surprised if one of the India parties breaks up to join the BJP. This will negate any damage which a TDP parting ways will entail. JDU results were frankly a surprise and wonder if the party will survive a debacle in the asse mbly polls. Dont see any which way JDU will leave the NDA especially since the life of a India alliance government would be in weeks. Maybe it would be better if the BJP had tajen a page from indira Gandhis playbook..allowed India bloc to form a government which would collapse soon and then Modi would return as the strong leader India needs.

I heard 3 interviews of Pandian, I never heard him say a single negative comment on BJP. I suspect Pandian was a BJP plant inside BJD.
In my opinion, main loss of BJP was in UP and to some extent on WB. Reason was BJP does not bother about its own party workers and they are left to fend for themselves while dealing with petty things like facing small local disputes or Childers admission in schools. On the other hand SP goes out the way to care of its workers for every work. They are very aggressive, ruffians and fighters and they win what patty is rulling the state. If you recollect they even beat up mayavati in vidhan shabha.
Same is the case in WB where BJP workers are just beaten up and allowed to vote and BJP looks around helplessly. BJP and RSS has become idealistic but today's politics requires good muscle power.
BJP is emulating Europeans to do righteous conduct following all the rules 5 to 10% are taking over entire Europe by breaking all the rules or by hook or crook.
You might be happy in winning congress, but I shudder at the thought of Rahul Gandhi or Sonia Gandhi as PM because he can produce gold out of potatoes. India will go back by 200 years.
