The only thing you forgot to show is setting the ride height and dampening adjustments. From what I have read you measure the gap between the top of the tyre and the wheel arch and that measurement is what you set between the two locking plates, the thread between the plates should be the same as the gap if you want the same ride height.
The coil overs aren't too bad but they also haven't been under heavy use. But from what I can see, it's a decent alternative if you want adjustability over the regular stock replacement.
The preload is going to be defined by each application so this video was more to cover the removal and installation process. But thanks for the feedback. I will keep this in mind for future coilover videos.
Had to grind down that lower piece on the rears to get them to fit. Front had 3 screws sticking out of the top hat which wouldnt allow for the tophat to sit flush with the strut tower. They sent me another front set but the same bad set. Paid for shipping on those too. Lost about $400. Ended up getting some Function and. Form.

Great step by step. I appreciate when people specify the fastener sizes. Really helps people prep for the task
Glad it was helpful!
Appreciate how you broke down the whole job thank you 🙏🏾
No problem, thanks for the support!

The settings really depend on what look you're going for.
Definitely looking forward to the long term review!
I agree. Interested to see how they hold up.
@@btbuildthingshow have they held up?
best tsx installation video
Much appreciated!
Did you have the coils set to the lowest possible setting? It looks good especially in the rear.
It's not on the lowest setting so they is more drop to get if needed.
I just bought these from someone new for a good ass deal I hope I don’t have the same issue as the bottom sleeve
Hopefully you get the right sleeve and you should be good to go. Other than that you would have to shave down the bushing to make it fit.
How do you like the coil overs? We have a perfect 2006 with 210K. Suspension is fine but a little tired. Thanks!

I can't wait until that work is done lol
Same Here. Lol
video was super helpful thank you and sub'd!
Thanks for the sub!
Soo, did you just not film setting the preload or?

howd you get the bolt into the bracket on the rear so easily?
Not sure which portion of the video you are referencing but I'm guessing the impact driver helped get it in there much smoother.
How low do they go?

Maxpeeding rods sent me the correct one.
hey how have they been holding up?
Since the car is still under construction I don't drive it regularly but the last time I drive it, everything seemed to settle just fine.
Love content bro
Appreciate it, Thanks!
I had so much trouble with these coilovers. I lost money and had to order a different brand of coils. Very disappointed with MaXpeeding Rods.
What issue did you have with the coilovers and what did you replace them with?
