😬 I was hoping you'd like The Exorcist's House: Genesis. Goodreads has nothing but five stars for it, which I always find suspicious especially when an author gives themselves a five star review, but Amazon has more reviews. I may have to cancel my preorder and wait. The cover is fabulous, though.
Do you have a Kindle Unlimited subscription? It looks like it will be included in KU, so you could read it there first - or at least enough to know if you'd still like to purchase a copy. Remember, this is just my opinion and I've definitely entered the old lady "get off my lawn" phase, so bear that in mind. Still give it a try!!

I am CACKLING! I've been known to shake a fist at a cloud or two, especially recently. We've had so many dang pop up thunderstorms the last 2 weeks. We should start an Old Yeller's Club, lol
