Do you cover the part where the iX is perpetually in the shop due to electrical gremlins? Mine's been at the dealership since Sept 27th as the parking sensors see ghosts, dealership said they "opened a case with BMW NA engineering as the car will not accept the needed programming (not a usual situation)".
There will be a next generation/platform all EV BMW SAV. What they call it, how it is different, and what else changes from what we see right now, will make it worth waiting. As per others, this vehicle because of the gen 6 ones (especially the battery improvements) coming, is why this is the very first lease for us ever. The ix is an exciting, highly competent current vehicle. When our three year lease is up, we will jump on the gen 6 evolvement.
I like this car, But I prefer the X5. Now, Removing Buttons will Always Be STUPID s Hell ! the "My Mode" thing is just dreadful. It's Not a spectacle, I just wanna be able to change modes quickly, Not showing up to everyone what im doing. How Long do hey need to put mode selector on the Steering wheel ?? F all these "designers" and who validate Anything pathetic trends !
Welcome to Chicago! We have pot holes here large enough to swallow an iX lol. A comment though: the specs you show early in the vlog are for the 2023 model. The 2024 M60 is more expensive than shown and the ERA range is higher, namely 298 miles for both 21 and 22 in wheels. I have 22 inch wheels on my 2024 M60 and can exceed 300 miles on the highway with fairly sane driving. In his 70 mph range test in a 2023 M60 in Colorado, Kyle Conner registered 339 miles in summer weather I will be interested to hear what you can get in winter. Very polished vlog btw.
I went with the msrp listed on the monroney. So not sure. I need to check the EPA rating. I know Kyle managed to beat that. Need to ask him what the conditions were
I really hate the design and seats when iX was introduced. But after one weekend with it, I order one. Pure love. Best family bmw for me.
The seats bother me a bit. Too short
@@bmwblog for me are better, than sporty ones in X5. Especially for long trips. But as everything, could be better.
Me too
Nice video 👍
I have an iX coming in a couple of weeks, also with the Mocha interior
Nice 👍 You will enjoy it. Let me know what you think of it
Great review. Thank you!!
Glad it was useful. Let me know if we should cover something else also.
Chicago!! Maybe a battery status during winter / cold weather time would be a good topic to be covered as well.
Will do for sure. I'm curious also

If it happens to me, I will.
I would lease this IX and wait for a Gen 2.
There won't be a Gen 2. That platform is done

interesting i thought the dash was always the same colour as the seats?
Not in this one
They would have to really try to make it any uglier. That dashboard & steering wheel looks like a year 1 industrial design student project.
Drives nice though

The X5 is a very different car though
@@bmwblog yeah I know. still a big SUV. So a valid comparison.
Stick to the other steering wheel. Horn button is to fat like a mazda..
The steering is not for everyone, but it's practical
Such as ugly car ! bmw is so late for the electrified industry !
Some would argue they were one of the first. BMW i3, i8 etc
Oh I ❤ the BMW iX!.& the combination of that colour & the colour of the leather just perfect!.
I totally agree!
I so envy you bruh! I can certainly live with the design.. think they could’ve done better by hiding the rear wiper though..
The design is alright. It's a good car
Do we have the part 2 of this ? I am looking forward the review of air suspension and rear axle steering
Yes, look at our entire series of the BMW iX th-cam.com/play/PLydknwfzlYibGYx-iGmVGldD8ynEcidl9.html

And yes, the roads suck here
