I consider it my curse." As an INFJ this is a trait to which I can relate. I don't detect absolutely everything the way Holmes does, but blimey, the stuff I do pick up on. They're like, "Ah, he wasn't listening," or "He didn't see." I seldom correct this misimpression , but when I do it freaks people out.

I am a true introvert and a recluse. Few are a true introvert. I am a danger to nobody. Nobody knows me. I know nobody. With nobody in my life, it is impossible for me to be dangerous to anybody. If an, "introvert," has friends, that is no introvert. It is merely someone that makes it hard to get along with them. I tire of many trying to glamorise being an introvert. A true introvert is near invisible to the, "normals." Nobody knows them. Nobody knows we exist.

Truthfully, my last friend was probably back when I was in fifth grade. I do not even work around people. I never assimilated social dependence that almost all people learn early. I guess if the fabled zombie apocalypse ever happens, I am okay because I depend on nobody.
I am introvert I don't hate nor I love people . There r there and I believe to be good . But I am better alone . But I dont be rude because ur not like me . And I am not antisocial if I find someone with great thoughts and thinking like me I go talk . And I say hi bye to people I don't know I also smile but being around many people is just not my cup of tea . I do love social gatherings but u will find me quite there also . Even if I plan it . I am just in my own goody things and enjoy my own company than anybody else I smile a lot
@@Eucalyptus-g5n I, as well, do not hate nor love humans. They are around many places that I am not. Nobody knows me. Thus, there are no smiles, greetings, nor goodbyes given. Weeks pass with no interactions with humans. Often, I do not even see them because I live in a very rural area. It is such an empty area of humans that my nearest neighbour is three kilometers from me, and I work completely alone, at night. Though I go weeks without seeing a human, I know how to communicate with them, should it be necessary. I have even taught myself two languages with English being my second language and French being my third. This is to aid in my job, not to establish social bonds. I know nothing of social gatherings. I assume there are some somewhere involving coworkers of differing shifts, rural community gatherings, and perhaps town meetings. But, I live at night due to my work inverting my circadian rhythum. Thus, if there are human gatherings in my region, it will never be known. Being always alone, from childhood to present, never allowed for the assimilation of social customs and protocols. Thus, interactions are kept only in a manner similar that a client would interact a service provider or merchant. Then the interaction is closed and we part ways. There has never been anybody in my life, save my parents. But, I feel existing alone has presented no negative issues. It is a successful life strategy. There seems no reason to alter the manner of living. A previous attempt at interpersonal, social, assimilation and bonding yielded painful results. There will be no further attempts at any manner of social connection. There are no needs for them.

And we need to also have compassion towards other people and be humble. And even if it's just one small conversation like hi bye and how r you are pretty needed in live . Even if it's just a small conversation u need to have it with people or a person if not we grow cold . It's not that big deal to smile and say just hi ☺. If we don't speak even a small greeting for many days we will grow and become cold which is not nice . But again even I am on life navigation so can't say how should u exactly be . So 😊👋
As an introvert I can confirm this. I've been bullied extensively in high school. With some of these kids, if I were to now observe them in danger to robbery, natural disaster, etc. I would do nothing to help, and possibly smiling at the situation. Ps. High-school was around 10 years ago.
Introverts not liking conflict and drama is dangerous because they will drop your ass in a heartbeat if you're too much trouble. When I'm done with someone, I'm done for good.

Only introvert with evil intentions are dangerous, but there is a difference between manipulating and coming up for yourself. The downside of being an introvert in the leak of feeling towards the other. Because We are mostly silent, extroverts can think we are cold and hard beings.

Categorising people as introvert and r extrovert is not always correct. For example I am not a optimist introvert. I’m pessimistic. There are different types of introverts. Same with extroverts. We may have abilities of the other. So don’t just take these.
Tough to date being introvert. Ive been sitting by myself for years waiting for a lady to show up at my door and started working on this comment 6 months ago. I love being introvert it keeps users away by being silent and listening to then unintentionly lay out their plan to use us or others. Ive always been the one hanging back in crowds and in public watching, listening, and reading people to learn what their about. And have had lots of people tell me they cant read me at all whether im in a good mood ,bad mood, mad, or down right pissed off. And like i tell people at work at abilitynd my boss they cant read me because i dont let them i can figure someone out in minutes. Its a blessing and a curse but i love having that ability and having the unreadable shield it makes people think twice before approaching and makes some people nervous or even scared. They say that "the quiet ones need ro be feared because you never know what they are thinking" and when those people at work ask what im thinking i say i was just thinking that ive killed you 25 different ways in my head in the time you was asking what i was thinking and that usually gets people to stop asking what im thinking. Lol

Has a Jamaican Man🇯🇲 i've been bullied alot for being quiet siting in my favourite spot in High School then one day my monster side came out and everyone in the school started to get extremely quiet, This happen in Canada, But what can i say it is what it is🤷♂️.
I'm an introvert but I enjoy conflicts, not that I'd seek them, but if it happens, I'm comfortable in that situation... because I stay calm and use logic and valid arguments so every time it's almost like trying to put out the fire with gasoline. Those situations where they're mad and yelling more and more and I just repeatedly smack them with facts no matter the emotional damage are so ridiculous and funny to me that they always make my day. And I never lose... so why not. And I definitely can't say I'm an optimist. Generally speaking, I'd describe myself as a realist with a tint of pessimism. When comes to some more niche topics, I'm on the furthest fringe of nihilism. It's simple... if you think you're thinking about things logically and you're NOT a nihilist, you probably don't think about things purely logically because nihilism (especially existential nihilism) is basically inevitable when you strip your mind of all emotions, experiences, feelings, memories... and only pure logic remains. And if you'd ask me whether I'd want to be an optimist if I could choose it or be still the same... Of course I'd NOT change it... thins mentality is so freeing when you really think about it.

A lot of people I've met always express surprise at me hearing their convos or knowing what they planned to do-because I simply sit back, watch and listen, I mean at the same time I sometimes have issues finding thing's right in front of my eye's lmaoo. But at the same time I can easily notice the smallest change in a person from several feet away, I've shown people multiple times that I can very easily see straight through their defenses that their so confident that are hidden, now I don't often announce what I know/see/hear about since I find that rude and disrespectful, and people don't tend to enjoy it when I tell them what I've observed, I ain't cruel or malicious with it by any means, but a lot of people aren't often as good at hiding things as they think they are..-
My supervisor can’t stand quiet, shy, or introverted people. She hate not knowing anything about you. She get irritated when an employee don’t open up to her. I told her she need to get a life. She will harass someone if you let her. She is horrible.
Nahh.... Me as Introverts i do agree that we really don't like conflicts and prefer to avoid. But as my age now at 40s i Realised, there is small thing need to change especially any Introverts out there. I cant figure out if I am an introvert that is also antisocial/shy or if I am just antisocial/shy but think I am an introvert. A lot of the things in the vid are how I am but it doesnt end well like sure I think a lot before making decisions and take into consideration all kinds of things and then still make the wrong decision. I have been pushing myself sometimes to chat with others without thinking about what I am gonna say cuz of course a lot of the times I will let the other person speak and take in their info and have my own input but I wait too long and then the subject changes.
Lot of good things said of quiet people but thats not always true. I'm kind of a loner and get along by myself but like being talkative and around people too! I'm actually happier now that I'm not as shy and at times talk a lot and listen little. I live the best of both lives and have become my own best friend. I'm not lonely by myself and don't rely on pets to feel liked. The best part is I can fit in good around people and enjoy their company while they also find me interesting. I've lived this for 75 years now and am glad I'm not a "mysterious introvert"now!
I have all these traits and i totally keep to myself, i don't like drama, conflict, non sense or foolishness etc. I think before i speak, and i make decisions on the the facts, information given to me, I'm a great listener and act accordingly. I love my peace quiet, and i can be myself etc. I refer to be avoid toxic people and negative . And yes we can and are reliable people.
Smart people do not think so. They see their own ignorance. Introverts are looking in the right direction. Inside. Introverts are not dangerous. Thoughts are. Give an introvert a minute and they will explain time. Danger is in the mind of the fearful. A thought is only as valid as the action. See more. Speak less. Be wise.
Dont forget that we act like happy, chilled to people which are not the closest but you know somewhere right there. Also i dont faith on myself and its difficult for me to have a goal in life cuz i dont believe that i will become something.
I don't forget all of the horrible stuff you said to me that you intentionally hurt me. That I don't like people who make up stuff about me because of their college classes. That I don't need to change. That I am not being myself. That I am so angry that I was forced to be a different person. I am exploding. That I get people talking behind my back and have the authorities come after me. Maybe because they find me so quiet that I can't take up for myself. That no one can keep quiet. Except for myself. That I remember so many mistakes that people made. That I rather not talk about you. Unless you ask for it. Because I am a human being. And I don't want a screamer telling me that I am not smart.
The number 4 reminds me of how fucked people can be if they are incompetent when working with me because I would analyse everything and ask tons of questions like a police investigator to make them realise themself they fucked up badly. And I'm not even aggressive or anything I pretend to be pretty ignorant. For example as a software engineer I once made sysadmins in my company realise they were pretty incompetent when I analysed server issues with way less tools than they had (only an almost outdated spec) and it turned out I was completely right

Theres some ponts i dont quite agree with as an introvert. That is, written words speak louder than actions. I still believe actions speak louder than words or written verbiage. Actions over time can change a persons personality. Words can be faked forever

Dealing with a betrayer, sometimes it is nessessary to send an explicitly clear message. Had someone I thought was a friend. Then I found out what they were doing. Next day they opened the door to see an axe slam into the door frame inches from their head. I just stood there growling. They ran. No one has seen them since.

Categorising people as introvert and r extrovert is not always correct. For example I am not a optimist introvert. I’m pessimistic. There are different types of introverts. Same with extroverts. We may have abilities of the other. So don’t just take these.
Tough to date being introvert. Ive been sitting by myself for years waiting for a lady to show up at my door and started working on this comment 6 months ago. I love being introvert it keeps users away by being silent and listening to then unintentionly lay out their plan to use us or others. Ive always been the one hanging back in crowds and in public watching, listening, and reading people to learn what their about. And have had lots of people tell me they cant read me at all whether im in a good mood ,bad mood, mad, or down right pissed off. And like i tell people at work at abilitynd my boss they cant read me because i dont let them i can figure someone out in minutes. Its a blessing and a curse but i love having that ability and having the unreadable shield it makes people think twice before approaching and makes some people nervous or even scared. They say that "the quiet ones need ro be feared because you never know what they are thinking" and when those people at work ask what im thinking i say i was just thinking that ive killed you 25 different ways in my head in the time you was asking what i was thinking and that usually gets people to stop asking what im thinking. Lol

Has a Jamaican Man🇯🇲 i've been bullied alot for being quiet siting in my favourite spot in High School then one day my monster side came out and everyone in the school started to get extremely quiet, This happen in Canada, But what can i say it is what it is🤷♂️.
I'm an introvert but I enjoy conflicts, not that I'd seek them, but if it happens, I'm comfortable in that situation... because I stay calm and use logic and valid arguments so every time it's almost like trying to put out the fire with gasoline. Those situations where they're mad and yelling more and more and I just repeatedly smack them with facts no matter the emotional damage are so ridiculous and funny to me that they always make my day. And I never lose... so why not.
And I definitely can't say I'm an optimist. Generally speaking, I'd describe myself as a realist with a tint of pessimism. When comes to some more niche topics, I'm on the furthest fringe of nihilism. It's simple... if you think you're thinking about things logically and you're NOT a nihilist, you probably don't think about things purely logically because nihilism (especially existential nihilism) is basically inevitable when you strip your mind of all emotions, experiences, feelings, memories... and only pure logic remains.
And if you'd ask me whether I'd want to be an optimist if I could choose it or be still the same... Of course I'd NOT change it... thins mentality is so freeing when you really think about it.

A lot of people I've met always express surprise at me hearing their convos or knowing what they planned to do-because I simply sit back, watch and listen, I mean at the same time I sometimes have issues finding thing's right in front of my eye's lmaoo.
But at the same time I can easily notice the smallest change in a person from several feet away, I've shown people multiple times that I can very easily see straight through their defenses that their so confident that are hidden, now I don't often announce what I know/see/hear about since I find that rude and disrespectful, and people don't tend to enjoy it when I tell them what I've observed, I ain't cruel or malicious with it by any means, but a lot of people aren't often as good at hiding things as they think they are..-
My supervisor can’t stand quiet, shy, or introverted people. She hate not knowing anything about you. She get irritated when an employee don’t open up to her. I told her she need to get a life. She will harass someone if you let her. She is horrible.

I cant figure out if I am an introvert that is also antisocial/shy or if I am just antisocial/shy but think I am an introvert.
A lot of the things in the vid are how I am but it doesnt end well like sure I think a lot before making decisions and take into consideration all kinds of things and then still make the wrong decision.
I have been pushing myself sometimes to chat with others without thinking about what I am gonna say cuz of course a lot of the times I will let the other person speak and take in their info and have my own input but I wait too long and then the subject changes.

Lot of good things said of quiet people but thats not always true. I'm kind of a loner and get along by myself but like being talkative and around people too! I'm actually happier now that I'm not as shy and at times talk a lot and listen little. I live the best of both lives and have become my own best friend. I'm not lonely by myself and don't rely on pets to feel liked. The best part is I can fit in good around people and enjoy their company while they also find me interesting. I've lived this for 75 years now and am glad I'm not a "mysterious introvert"now!
We also know how to glare at people which is a warning if you take things too far

Is it possible to be an ENFJ & INFJ depending upon my mood? I’m very introverted most of the time, but if my mood is elevated I become an ENFJ.
The number 4 reminds me of how fucked people can be if they are incompetent when working with me because I would analyse everything and ask tons of questions like a police investigator to make them realise themself they fucked up badly. And I'm not even aggressive or anything I pretend to be pretty ignorant.
For example as a software engineer I once made sysadmins in my company realise they were pretty incompetent when I analysed server issues with way less tools than they had (only an almost outdated spec) and it turned out I was completely right
