To whoever wants their ex back, and needs encouragement. My girlfriend broke up with me 6 months ago, and it was a horrible break up. And I do mean horrible. It felt hopeless, and I honestly thought I'd never hear from, or see her again. It took 6 months for her to reach out.... We've since been on two dates together and are slowing getting reconnected. It is possible to get your ex back. Even if it ended badly. Just be sure to improve your life. Focus on you. I know, I hated hearing that, but it's likely the only way you will get your ex back. Take his advice peeps. A true relationship isn't brittle. If your ex wants you back...the clocking is ticking for them not you. No contact is powerful. It will be a win win either way. Work on yourself, learn new things, pursue old projects you forgot about, explore the world, understand who you truly are. If you're ex doesn't come back. Well we did get back together and even stronger than before. Coach Lee is so right about human psychology. Love has to be there . Willing to comprise need to be there. Being mature about reality of relationship is important. Self evaluation and self control is all important. Coach Lee explains all the importance in relationships in all of his videos. I listen to his videos all the time, even now that I am back with my Love. I still want to be on top of my relationship with looking at it objectively.I still need to correct many things from my end. But i cant even sleep thinking about how can i not remember the pain emotional trauma and focus on the fact that he came back. But i have this gut feeling he was unsure. Confused. Yet cant let go of me. So before even the worst happens i just did what my mind is telling me. He is not 100%. Slowly I’m regaining back my confidence and self worth. It was a bad breakup because he did it through email. He didn’t even give a chance to work things out. Relationship wasnt long too. Just 6 months. But it was the happiest months of my life. We never had any fights or problems. Even pettiest fight. We are so compatible for each other. That’s why it doesn’t make sense why he wanted to break up. He said he wasnt ready. Of course that’s BS excuse. 6 months together and you still haven’t figured out if you want a relationship? I allowed myself to be friend-zoned for about 3 months. I thought this was all I could get, to keep my best friend in my life. And then he started seeing someone else. My heart broke all over again after months of mixed signals from him. He finally told me he only saw me as a friend now, but wouldn't let me go. Just kept reaching out to me. I had to block him. Losing hope help in moving on but it depends on the reason for break up. Because my ex cheated on me and i was the one who broke up. So my situation is different and it is better for me to lose hope on getting a cheating ex back. I know it is painful.
@@paramkashyap8612 Thankfully there was no cheating involved in my situation. Perhaps that's why it's easier for me to have hope. Then again, I was in a relationship (before this current one) where cheating happened and we were able to get back together after a year and a half of nearly full NC. Life takes a lot of turns.
I did the 30 days of no contact and she then later blocked me on Facebook and a few weeks ago unfriended me on snapchat but still following on Instagram. We are on four months of no contact. The relationship was going so well honestly. She told me I was the best guy she ever dated, liked that I was athletic and attractive, all of the friends I met liked me and told her to not loss me and she said her dad could tell that I made her happy, but said that I was on chapter 8 while she was on chapter 4. But when we first started dating, she wanted something to last a long time and later on move in together. She does live about an hour away from me though. She told that the attraction for me was lost and felt like she was hanging with a friend. She did meet most all my family very soon. She met all my cousins and parents in the second week but told her that we didn't have to go to my brothers band gig and they were going but said it would be fun. But later, my dad had a gig and didn't know that some extended family was going and met them as well.

I've binge watched these videos going through a break up. It was a toxic relationship, and when I dream of her, it's a nightmare, but basically a rerun of real life. I've kind of come to accept the relationship will never come back, but I have learned a lot about my actions. I was immature, impulsive, angry and needy, if I had seen these before I would have had a better chance of helping us, her and me. We shall see. She weakens me, I just can't see it. Thank you for the videos, it's good knowledge for a book smart person with not much experience in relationships, to learn from their relationships, and be better in the next one.

Coach lee, My ex finally emailed and expressed his love and missing me. I emailed back and told him I miss him also. And asked if he wanted to meet up for tea. But now its back to silence. So am going back to no contact. And will leave it at that. I must say, I’m going through divorce and everyone I’ve asked or seeked advice for provide no hope and say “just move on”. Pretty crappy of them to really make you feel hopeless when you hear success stories all the time. I really needed this video. Of course he doesn't feel the break-up or the loss, because he's had a hidden parallel life for at least a year (and now I'm finding out) while he lead me on and told me he loved me and we'd be together FOREVER, so he has somebody else for quite some time. Coach Lee, I read your post “Can your ex break up with you but still be in love with you?” and here’s the thing: I had a 1 year 3 months relationship with this amazing guy, but due to some hard moments in our lifes, the last three months we started arguing a lot for the littlest things (nothing really serious, little 5 minute fights) but we didn’t solve does fights, we let them pass. When he broke up with me two weeks ago he told me that he didn’t want to fight for our relation because he was afraid that at first we were fine and then things began to turn into what they were at the end of our time together. I’m doing the no contact rule, we said we love each other a lot when we broke up, how amazing our relationship was before all the arguing and that maybe in the future we could get together again, but I really want him sooner in my life... That day he left my house crying. We messaged after that telling each other to have good luck, how hard this was being and how much we love each other. I messed up at the beggining before NC and send him a message telling him how i felt, he told me to not make things harder and that we should only talk if we saw each other face to face (but he sent me a message later asking for some data and seemed much more relax). He says this is for our own good and that time will decide... My birthday is on the first days of august and we said that we’ll see each other that day so that he can “congratulate me”. My ex(for 2 years) broke up with me one week ago. She`ve broken up with me 3 times before, but we got back together since i begged and pleaded. I didn`t do much work on myself and went back into the old patterns of critizicing her for every bad choices she made, got overcontrolling and protective against her to prevent all the cognitive dissonance. She has quit her job that stole almost all our time together, thrown out her brother(finally) who was living there with narcotic problems which I have warned her about for 2 years about having him living there, cause she has a daughter underage and so on because of the most likely coming consequences which she ignored. It finally happened that the childservices got to know this. I got so angry at her when she told me this(which I had predicted all the way) that I had to come support her for this that I had trying to avoid happen for so long, and I refused to show up because of those principles(I warned you, you didn`t listen). I`ve been waiting and looking forward for this for 2 years to happen, that her brother finally moved out so that I could move in and we could start our life together. But NOT the way it happened now. So I told her that I was NOT coming to support her that weekend cause I was so angry at her and this shitty situation that occured. She immediately got pissed and wished me a "Good weekend", where I answered that it most likely wouldn`t be a nice weekend. Hours later she sent me a message; "I don`t think you should terminate your tenancy where you live!" As I was still angry and upset I just agreed to it and went no contact for 4 days. I then reached out and tried once again to explain why I acted like I did and couldn`t come and support her, but she didn`t want to discuss it and only said I was justifying things and my own actions and said she didn`t like the person that she had become and thought it was for the best that we broke up, cause she meant we tore each other down and dissapointed each other all the way. I then "gave her" the breakup and told her that it was very sad and heavy to accept, but I accepted. Then she told me; "Not to make things worse, but I love you and hope you are doing fine
My ex broke up with me in February (though she claims January, not sure why) and I wrongly accepted friendship in the hopes of thinking it'll make her come back. Now there have been a couple of times since then where she's flirted and we even kissed and had fun on two nights, but in between those times it's all been just "I love you as a friend" etc. Friendzone basically. I knew I had to end the friendship sooner or later to have any shot at getting out and getting her back, but this is what happened: On a video chat, I was polite, but told her straight that I want a relationship, not a friendship. Told her she was a good person and a good friend, but if all she wants is us to be friends, then we should go our separate ways. She didn't take it too well and as a result, she considered it me rejecting her, hurting her, and started bringing up past mistakes I made in the relationship that I thought we had moved on from. It turned into a big fight, insults were said and she says she doesn't trust me anymore. She also said that when she said she loved me at the start of our relationship, she said it was more of a "steam cloud" effect. I think she was referring to limerence, which makes me feel like she never really did love me. In the end she doesn't think we're right for each other, that we're never getting back together, and that if there was the slightest thought of her wanting to, because I didn't want to be friends, that ruined it. don't understand, I feel like it's a lose-lose situation. I knew staying friends with her while she dates other guys would only solidify me in the friendzone, but ending the friendship causes her to think this ends all hope for good? What else was I supposed to do? How else could I have done it? And tbh, since she made it sound like she was only in limerence with me cause her feelings faded in January, I'm not sure if I would take her back (if she does come back by some miracle) because those feelings could just go away again
One thing that gives me hope is knowing that she could spend the rest of her life looking for someone who clicked the way we did. I just feel like we were meant for each other. Sounds stange, but we were like... the same person, if that makes any sense. We were together for eight years.
7+ months of NC and she's a dismissive avoidant. Hope is all but lost on my end. Facebook had to remind me that today was when we became official too. She probably saw it as well, and it had no effect on her. Did a helluva lot of personal growth this year, and have been dating new women since May though.
My ex told me it was the distance. I knew it was an excuse. Yes, LDR is tough, but we were working well together for a year. And actually, I was going to move in with her next month. But I think the commitment scared her. We were progressing into something serious, and for her this was frightening. The move was too much. I'm on 21 days of NC. Haven't dated anyone else yet, and I don't think she has either. We were a good couple, and I hope that the attachment is strong enough to make her want me back. As for now, I'm going to go on a vacation, learn a new language, and gain some new dance moves.

Now I'm engaged to a gorgeous Eastern European girl. She's in the financial world but also looks to start her modelling career. We have a lot of fun together, full of love and laughter. Don't know what happened to my ex. Never spoke with her again. And to be honest, I don't really care. So much better now. And so much easier.
I want to fight for her, not over her. I have been in No contact/Strategic contact with her since Monday May 31st, 2021. She has spoken to me maybe 2-3 times in that time frames, sometimes hot usually cold. We work together and that makes things difficult, for sure. I have backed away and only communicate with her on items that are work related. I do not engage with her. Not being cruel or ignoring her, merely giving her what she asked for. Giving her the break up that she wanted. I am blocked on her social media, for the second time. It was 6 weeks before she added me back to her social media, then blocked me again. so there seems to be this strange pattern of this. I do not ask her family about her, or anyone connected to her about her. I sense she is having some kind of troubles/issues. I truly miss her. She is in the midst of a rebound I feel, to prove to herself that she is happy with this new person. She escalated quickly and moved this person in with her, as if it were her trying to get into the relationship we had with him in under half the time we spent together. I just don't know anymore. It has been three months, nearly four and I am dating someone new. Not sure.
I was always her safety net for her bad decicions. Costs me tons of energy, nerves, pain and money. Now she wants to put me thru this loop again...I'll go NC as soon as she has moved out - this will give her a totally new experience.

Your videos have helped me a lot! But I fear that I found you too late. I made all of the mistakes after I as dumped. I acted out, cried, begged, got angry, sent all sorts of hateful messages. And ive tried initiating no contact but the feeling of loss is too powerful for me to control. He said that we would've been back together if I hadnt acted that way. Not sure if that's true or not. I got dumped after all things i've done. I never lied to her, I did anything for the best of our relationship, i cared for her, I gave her my devotion, I already saving up for marriage. He didn't look back, he didn't shed a tear.. he deleted 2 pics of me kept those with my name and that's it.. he said he doesn't want a relationship anymore with anyone and not even 1 night stands.... he said love doesn't fix things and it's better this way.. I had massive fights with his family and with him about them, some of which I started because I felt like it was too much... 2 or 3 fights were 100% my fault, but I TRIED to make up for them and tried to make him see that they are cruel to me and to him sometimes and none of us deserve to be treated like that.. My ex created all my social media accounts, so after she blocked me I've deleted my accounts and I've gone ghost mode. I just disappeared not only just for her even for my friends. Just working on myself to get better physically, intellectually and financially. Pray for me so that I can get over her soon.

@@juliemanso4589 you should focus on figuring out why the breakup was confrontational and working through that. When a relationship gets to that point there are some serious issues that need to be worked out before any talks of reconciliation can happen.

Work on yourself, learn new things, pursue old projects you forgot about, explore the world, understand who you truly are. If you're ex doesn't come back. You can be far greater than the person you once were and who knows.....You might just find someone better. I know you're hurting right now.......and you're at your lowest. I allowed myself to be friend-zoned for about 3 months. I thought this was all I could get, to keep my best friend in my life. And then he started seeing someone else. My heart broke all over again after months of mixed signals from him. He finally told me he only saw me as a friend now, but wouldn't let me go. Just kept reaching out to me. I had to block him. It's been 26 days. I've been working on myself, have seen a therapist. Some days are better than others. But man, this stuff takes a long time. Today was a rough day as I saw him drive through town as I was dining out with my daughter 😭

Losing hope help in moving on but it depends on the reason for break up. Because my ex cheated on me and i was the one who broke up. So my situation is different and it is better for me to lose hope on getting a cheating ex back. I know it is painful.

Then again, I was in a relationship (before this current one) where cheating happened and we were able to get back together after a year and a half of nearly full NC. Life takes a lot of turns.

The relationship was going so well honestly. She told me I was the best guy she ever dated, liked that I was athletic and attractive, all of the friends I met liked me and told her to not loss me and she said her dad could tell that I made her happy, but said that I was on chapter 8 while she was on chapter 4. But when we first started dating, she wanted something to last a long time and later on move in together. She does live about an hour away from me though. She told that the attraction for me was lost and felt like she was hanging with a friend.
She did meet most all my family very soon. She met all my cousins and parents in the second week but told her that we didn't have to go to my brothers band gig and they were going but said it would be fun. But later, my dad had a gig and didn't know that some extended family was going and met them as well.

I've binge watched these videos going through a break up. It was a toxic relationship, and when I dream of her, it's a nightmare, but basically a rerun of real life. I've kind of come to accept the relationship will never come back, but I have learned a lot about my actions. I was immature, impulsive, angry and needy, if I had seen these before I would have had a better chance of helping us, her and me. We shall see. She weakens me, I just can't see it. As it seems i have been wrestling with this with my Ex for sometime and have found out that truly he has not chosen me but has chosen the other woman. Coach Lee, I read your post “Can your ex break up with you but still be in love with you?” and here’s the thing: I had a 1 year 3 months relationship with this amazing guy, but due to some hard moments in our lifes, the last three months we started arguing a lot for the littlest things (nothing really serious, little 5 minute fights) but we didn’t solve does fights, we let them pass. When he broke up with me two weeks ago he told me that he didn’t want to fight for our relation because he was afraid that at first we were fine and then things began to turn into what they were at the end of our time together. I’m doing the no contact rule, we said we love each other a lot when we broke up, how amazing our relationship was before all the arguing and that maybe in the future we could get together again, but I really want him sooner in my life... That day he left my house crying. We messaged after that telling each other to have good luck, how hard this was being and how much we love each other. He says this is for our own good and that time will decide... My birthday is on the first days of august and we said that we’ll see each other that day so that he can “congratulate me”. My ex(for 2 years) broke up with me one week ago. She`ve broken up with me 3 times before, but we got back together since i begged and pleaded. I didn`t do much work on myself and went back into the old patterns of critizicing her for every bad choices she made, got overcontrolling and protective against her to prevent all the cognitive dissonance. She has quit her job that stole almost all our time together, thrown out her brother(finally) who was living there with narcotic problems which I have warned her about for 2 years about having him living there, cause she has a daughter underage and so on because of the most likely coming consequences which she ignored. It finally happened that the childservices got to know this. I got so angry at her when she told me this(which I had predicted all the way) that I had to come support her for this that I had trying to avoid happen for so long, and I refused to show up because of those principles(I warned you, you didn`t listen). I`ve been waiting and looking forward for this for 2 years to happen, that her brother finally moved out so that I could move in and we could start our life together. But NOT the way it happened now. So I told her that I was NOT coming to support her that weekend cause I was so angry at her and this shitty situation that occured. She immediately got pissed and wished me a "Good weekend", where I answered that it most likely wouldn`t be a nice weekend. Hours later she sent me a message; "I don`t think you should terminate your tenancy where you live!"
As I was still angry and upset I just agreed to it and went no contact for 4 days. I then reached out and tried once again to explain why I acted like I did and couldn`t come and support her, but she didn`t want to discuss it and only said I was justifying things and my own actions and said she didn`t like the person that she had become and thought it was for the best that we broke up, cause she meant we tore each other down and dissapointed each other all the way. I then "gave her" the breakup and told her that it was very sad and heavy to accept, but I accepted. Then she told me; "Not to make things worse, but I love you and hope you are doing fine
My ex broke up with me in February (though she claims January, not sure why) and I wrongly accepted friendship in the hopes of thinking it'll make her come back. Now there have been a couple of times since then where she's flirted and we even kissed and had fun on two nights, but in between those times it's all been just "I love you as a friend" etc. Friendzone basically. I knew I had to end the friendship sooner or later to have any shot at getting out and getting her back, but this is what happened:
On a video chat, I was polite, but told her straight that I want a relationship, not a friendship. Told her she was a good person and a good friend, but if all she wants is us to be friends, then we should go our separate ways. She didn't take it too well and as a result, she considered it me rejecting her, hurting her, and started bringing up past mistakes I made in the relationship that I thought we had moved on from. It turned into a big fight, insults were said and she says she doesn't trust me anymore. She also said that when she said she loved me at the start of our relationship, she said it was more of a "steam cloud" effect. I think she was referring to limerence, which makes me feel like she never really did love me.
In the end she doesn't think we're right for each other, that we're never getting back together, and that if there was the slightest thought of her wanting to, because I didn't want to be friends, that ruined it.
don't understand, I feel like it's a lose-lose situation. I knew staying friends with her while she dates other guys would only solidify me in the friendzone, but ending the friendship causes her to think this ends all hope for good? What else was I supposed to do? How else could I have done it?
And tbh, since she made it sound like she was only in limerence with me cause her feelings faded in January, I'm not sure if I would take her back (if she does come back by some miracle) because those feelings could just go away again

7+ months of NC and she's a dismissive avoidant. Hope is all but lost on my end. Facebook had to remind me that today was when we became official too. She probably saw it as well, and it had no effect on her. Did a helluva lot of personal growth this year, and have been dating new women since May though.
My ex told me it was the distance. I knew it was an excuse. Yes, LDR is tough, but we were working well together for a year. And actually, I was going to move in with her next month. But I think the commitment scared her. We were progressing into something serious, and for her this was frightening. The move was too much.
I'm on 21 days of NC. Haven't dated anyone else yet, and I don't think she has either. We were a good couple, and I hope that the attachment is strong enough to make her want me back. As for now, I'm going to go on a vacation, learn a new language, and gain some new dance moves.

Now I'm engaged to a gorgeous Eastern European girl. She's in the financial world but also looks to start her modelling career. We have a lot of fun together, full of love and laughter.
Don't know what happened to my ex. Never spoke with her again. And to be honest, I don't really care. So much better now. And so much easier.
I want to fight for her, not over her. I have been in No contact/Strategic contact with her since Monday May 31st, 2021. She has spoken to me maybe 2-3 times in that time frames, sometimes hot usually cold.
We work together and that makes things difficult, for sure. I have backed away and only communicate with her on items that are work related. I do not engage with her. Not being cruel or ignoring her, merely giving her what she asked for. Giving her the break up that she wanted. I am blocked on her social media, for the second time. It was 6 weeks before she added me back to her social media, then blocked me again. so there seems to be this strange pattern of this.
I do not ask her family about her, or anyone connected to her about her. I sense she is having some kind of troubles/issues. I truly miss her.
She is in the midst of a rebound I feel, to prove to herself that she is happy with this new person. She escalated quickly and moved this person in with her, as if it were her trying to get into the relationship we had with him in under half the time we spent together.
I just don't know anymore. It has been three months, nearly four and I am dating someone new. Not sure.
I just think eventually she'll just move on, and i will fade away, i dont think shell want to get back together after like 4 months
I was always her safety net for her bad decicions. Costs me tons of energy, nerves, pain and money.

Your videos have helped me a lot! But I fear that I found you too late. I made all of the mistakes after I as dumped. I acted out, cried, begged, got angry, sent all sorts of hateful messages. And ive tried initiating no contact but the feeling of loss is too powerful for me to control. He said that we would've been back together if I hadnt acted that way. Not sure if that's true or not. I got dumped after all things i've done. I never lied to her, I did anything for the best of our relationship, i cared for her, I gave her my devotion, I already saving up for marriage. I had massive fights with his family and with him about them, some of which I started because I felt like it was too much... 2 or 3 fights were 100% my fault, but I TRIED to make up for them and tried to make him see that they are cruel to me and to him sometimes and none of us deserve to be treated like that.. I wanted him to tell them to back a little off and let the relationship be.. I felt SUFFOCATED by his family... idk if he'll come back......those fights've been going on for 7 months.. he said he fwlt controlled..that I had made him feel embarrassed with my actions..that I humiliated him with my attitude....it hurt to hear that from his friend... idk what to do..

My ex created all my social media accounts, so after she blocked me I've deleted my accounts and I've gone ghost mode. I just disappeared not only just for her even for my friends.

@@juliemanso4589 you should focus on figuring out why the breakup was confrontational and working through that. When a relationship gets to that point there are some serious issues that need to be worked out before any talks of reconciliation can happen.

NO. He is doing it for control. It will be hard, but you need to stand your ground by continuing no contact or he will continue to do it.

I feel ashamed because I already knew all about no contract and I still started too late, broke it more than once, early on too and didn’t accept the breakup right away. And looking at my situation it seems bleak or that attraction might have already been too low by the time we broke up. I feel stupid for it and like our relationship was salvageable. But now I’m forced to move on
