Do subsidy cover only 3-4% interest or full interest?
Many bank saying you get 3-4% of interest you pay per year during course!

Hey
I applied for a loan in sbi.
But i had given canara bank account no as i had earlier decided to take loan from canara bank.
Only after knowing that sbi had a much lower interest i decided to switch to sbi.
So i had already given my canara bank account details before choosing bank.
Since the account number and bank didnt match my loan was rejected.
When i decided to apply again its saying that the aadhar card has already applied and i cant apply again.
I tried contacting jansamarth but their number is showing server unreachable.
What can i do?
Could you pls provide any other number to contact jansamrth other than number shown in their website.

Hai Ma'am
I submitted an application by giving income details twice, by mistake (student's income - actually there is no income - and co-applicant's income). Message came that I am not eligible because my income exceeds the limit. I tried to apply again correcting the mistake, but the message is that I cannot apply again this time with the same aadhar and pancard numbers. I sent an email to them requesting to remove my application so that I would be able to resubmit the application. Reply came that I cannot submit the application before 30 days. Is there any way to submit the application now as my college is insisting me to give them the loan details. Kindly reply.

You can use this education loan emi calculator for your better understanding: www.wemakescholars.com/education-loan/emi-calculator. what should be the family itr for applying education loan? i tried so many times, but i was unable to clear the eligibility critaria.
Hi Anchit, If you’re opting for a STEM course and taking your education loan from a public bank, your co-applicant’s income is not assessed by banks as you’re pledging a collateral. However, if you’re opting for an unconventional course like MBBS, banks require a financially strong co-applicant. Additionally, Private banks and NBFC’s require 2/3 years of ITR with 5-6 LPA as source of income filed. Request a callback at bit.ly/48cTdcR. Our team will get back to you soon and find the reason for your concern and hopefully assist you in getting an education loan so that you can claim your subsidy .

Dear team,
I'm curious about the scheme. I started college in October 2022 to study b. Sc nursing for four years. The first year's tuition is 175000, and I paid 140000. Now since the remaining period is three years, the total fees for the next three years are 525,000, and I wish to apply for an education loan. I have a receipt for my first year of college fees. But, for the following three years, I have a genuine certificate with the cost structure; is this sufficient, or do I need to attach any other documents?

Hi Karishma, Firstly you have to delete your application from the Jansamarth portal and then you have to wait for 60 days after which you can apply on the Vithyalakshmi portal. However, you are studying abroad or in India? you can visit bit.ly/3MVP0Sy

We are partnered with both types of banks. We can connect you to those banks that provide your preferred disbursement type. If i submit collateral, but my co applicant's cibil score is less that 600, am i eligible?
Hi Bhavithran! The above-mentioned CIBIL score is quite low, and is therefore rejected without a second thought in most instances. Maybe you could speak to our loan officers about it. They will try to dig below the surface and exactly understand what went wrong and whether there is any way out. The reasons for the low score are quite important. Many times we have negotiated for students whose co-applicants had CIBIL scores as low as 600. You can sign up for a discussion with our team here: bit.ly/3KLb0zu
If I have not applied for subsidy at start and now my education is completed and it's been a year then Am I able to apply for subsidy ?

Hi Pranali! Jansamarth portal is for subsidy not for loan. If you are seeking help from our team with the loan process, please get in touch by requesting a callback on this link: bit.ly/3KLb0zu
