The stage 1 looks brutal for a no-bomb game. Seems like there is no bomb or bullet cancelling? The game looks like it would benefit from multiple buttons for each weapon like Radiant Silvergun or Ether Vapor. Without any HUD to remind me the order of the weapon toggling, the weapon toggling seems to be much more nightmarish than Battle Garegga's option formation switching.
there is no toggling - you have a seperate button for shot and backshot, for the swords you can either press both shot+backshot or map a seperate button. holding the focus button will modify your shots.

hahaha okay so what Jaimers figured out is that tickpoints rule the scoring at a high level, which was not intentional by the developer.... also Jaimers went so fast that he actually spawned a second set of midboss towers which is amazing... haha there's definitely some things about the scoring that might change after our weekly caravan in SJ discord - serves as a good play test as well haha

Seeing that you get a grade at the end of the stage gave me a neuron activation like a monkey seeing a banana. This game looks so sick!
