This. Is. Perfect 👌🏻 nice and small to store yet so ergonomic and i can work normally. With an apartment without real desk space and also kids around this is perfect. I just roll it wherever fits. So cool
IDEA!!:Tbh idk if this is a good or not but here’s one the flat desk you have? You could try make one that have flat table on the side arm rest then pull it out then put it back into like box or hanging on the side of arm rest.. that way you can attach to any chair also look up table mechanism (airplane) just to get some reference idea if that helps!! That way you can just put laptop on there or have a keyboard mouse while have a monitor floating like in the video or on the desk I hope that makes sense😅
I tried to watch a lot of times, first thanks for this idea this is I wondering Now I need to build this but I can’t be sure that tiny trolly can endure monitor’s weight
Hello, I enjoy watching your projects. I have an Ikea Markus, a non-adjustable desk, a laptop, a laptop stand and an external keyboard. These are probably the tools and equipment that a large audience can have. Can you develop a project related to this? How can I create an ideal order?
I know this has nothing to do with the video at hand but I have just a general question after seeing one of your shorts 😭 is it possible for me to buy an automatic record player but use is manually? Or do I have to use the automated features
Yes you can. Push the lift needle button, move the needle to a different track, push the button again to drop the needle. Automatic turntables are great because of their auto-stop feature!
So for how long can you sit in the leaned back position until it becomes uncomfortable? And more importantly for how long can you sit before you doze off?
When typing on your keyboard - do the monitors wobble? Can you lock the position of the keyboard and trackpad so you can rest your arms on the wood? I am really thinking about buying all the parts and replicating the build.
I'm still trying to find the right balance between functionality and ease of build on the 3rd design. The 4th design will be an electric version and may be the ultimate build. Stay tuned.
@@ToolsElectroDIY Do you recommend waiting for the 3rd design? The electric version is probably overkill for me, but if the 3rd design takes a similar amount of money and time to build, I'll wait for it :) What do you suggest?

Thanks for this link. This 2nd Gen, definitely seems more flexible. Very impressive.
Glad it is helpful

Glad you like it!
Incredible. You appear to be locked in!
Looks like it, but no longer locked in.
@@ToolsElectroDIYNo longer literally locked in, but still locked in. I want this setup!
@@InternalErrorX locked into focus on the work I’m doing
Love this setup, wil ltey it myself. Thank you
You will love it!

yes, standing desk. thanks
This is great. Do you think there’s a way to do it with a desktop pc with two side-by-side monitors instead of a monitor and a laptop?
yes, stay tuned.
will be keeping an eye on your progress 👍🏻
Much appreciated
That monitor stand, i never thought i can make zero gravity set up out of ikea trolley
haha, I'm trying to think out side the box :D
When do you think there will be a video of your next version? I'm already very excited.
Very soon! Maybe next month. I just need to get a few more components ready for the 3rd design. And there will be a 4th design (electric)
Any plans for a build with two monitor and laptop/keyboard options
Yes, almost done. Stay tuned.
I tried to watch a lot of times, first thanks for this idea this is I wondering

Go for it! The Ikea cart is MUCH stronger than you think!

stay tuned for my next version update soon.
Can you use it while standing up? Do the arms go up that much and can be locked in place? Great video!
no. that would be in my 3rd gen design. stay tuned!
@@ToolsElectroDIY I am waiting for the 3rd design! It’s gonna be a hit!
Really cool design! On a another note, how do you keep your cat from scratching your chair? I'm scared of getting a mesh chair lol
Luckily, they don't scratch the chair. They would sleep in it :D

this sound insane but can I use a 49 inch monitor with this set up?
No, but this new setup can handle the 49" Samsung G9 OLED one th-cam.com/video/n2UCogo9Vck/w-d-xo.html
Ufff thats right, I prefer this way.
Love it.
Thanks! 3rd and even 4th design coming soon. Stay tuned.
Good job. you are really a creative person!
Thank you! 😊
So for how long can you sit in the leaned back position until it becomes uncomfortable? And more importantly for how long can you sit before you doze off?
A few hours. If you feel sleepy, now you know what to use if you have trouble sleeping.

Or should I wait for the 3rd or 4th design and build it then? :)
The monitor won't wobble as I type. The keyboard tray cannot be locked due to the extended arm, unless you support it with your chair somehow.

When I completely atrophy from work, it will be convenient to attach IVs there too.

I think so. Please follow the links under the video description.
Using an oscilatting tool with carbide cutter is safer and faster for cutting.
Good idea.
very good!!!
You like it?!
yes@@ToolsElectroDIY
super duper ideal
Thanks! Check out my 1st design too, which is more compact.
i do need a desk to write.
ok

Thank you
i would like an option to lock the chair into the workstation and also have option to detatch as well. otherwise very cool
also imagine adding AI tracking cameras to each swivel that acts like a gimbal to align with where your head is
Yes, that feature may be in my third design. I’m working on it right now. Stay tuned.
Well, at that point you might as well use Apple Vision Pro or other VR goggles
What about a Reclining Chair for those of us that are 6ft2 + Tall and weigh over 380lbs???????????
nope
just goto a funeral home and asked the customers about buying the hospital bed that is no longer needed. Easy!
I look forward to watching your video
do you have prone workstation. my back pain, I want lay on my belly
no

Please post a video to show me how you turn it into a proper workstation thank you
Your chair jiggling
Ok
instagram brought me here
Thanks!
the first setup was cool, but honestly this one just looks kinda dumb
I’m trying to solve the problem with large monitors. I got lots of feedback of not being able to use it in the first version
