Austria always gets bashed for not beeing that good internationally but the amount of work they are putting in to the youth is outstanding and makes me proud
I used to play In the Vienna Capitals and Vienna Tigers hockey clubs, 2 years at each. Now I play at HK Ružinov 99 in Bratislava and the difference in the leagues are there. In Austria, they generally don't care about Ice Hockey, more about Football and Skiing. In Slovakia, Ice Hockey is the national sport.
